Any problems ppl have will be fixed in the pc version, it will be modded to hell and back with maps, weapons, skins, sounds, amount of players per game, etc.

PC version FTW\

360 is just bound to dissappoint just like tf2

Morrowind was much more enjoyable then Oblivion for these reasons in particular

1.) Traveling and exploration got boring to all hell after a few hours. The forest environment just got way to boring way to fast. Morrowind had many, MANY, different environments that felt like different worlds to me. The only saving grace for Oblivion in this regard was the Shivering Isles but after a good 30 hours of playing the original game, I lost all interest in the game.

2.) Enchanting and Spellmaking was a utter f**king joke in Oblivion. I loved being able to do whatever I liked in Morrowind, it gave you a sense of being God-like lol. When I saw that you couldn't even use certain abilities on your weapons and such...I almost quit playing right there.

3.) Itemization was nubbed to hell in Oblivion. Shoulder armor pieces gone, unable to use 2 different gauntlets, unable to wear clothing under armor, etc. Also the fact that daedric, glass, ebony, and orcish armor just became natural to find in Oblivion, that completely ruined the 'sweet!' factor when finding this gear. I loved how rare these armor sets were in Morrowind, it felt like an accomplishment finding them. Another thing that was really, REALLY lame in Oblivion to me was treasure hunting. Oblivion had no worth while items to go hunting for as apposed to Morrowind.

4.) The concept of everything leveling up with you is cool but it takes away the feel that you're the savior of the world when some random forest wolf comes up and is able to put up a decent fight. Random bandits on the street are just as geared as you and the whole thing just gets plain stupid.

5.) The story was TERRIBLE in Oblivion not to mention one hell of a boring main quest line to follow. Go to an Oblivion gate and close....rinse and repeat many times. In Morrowind the story was excellent. The main quest line had you going all over the world, Meeting many legendary beings and your character was actually a chosen one and you actually had a sense of having more power over others in the game. Much better flat out.

All in all, Oblivion added a better combat system in exchange for degrading all of the things listed above. There was no reason to design Oblivion to hold your character back, and to nerf the items, enchanting, etc. The only reason is that they nerfed the hell out of it for consoles/new fanbase. I spent about 30 hours on Oblivion and around 200+ hours with Morrowind. Morrowind was a better game and RPG, period. Hopefully Elder Scrolls V brings back the greatness that Morrowind had and still has to this day.

[QUOTE="AgentA-Mi6"][QUOTE="cowgriller"][QUOTE="AgentA-Mi6"]

This game was a million seller before release, it was confirmed many times that 1.3 million copies were preorders, it already surpassed the 4 million mark.

Success Period.

cowgriller

4 million shipped to stores, not sold to the consumer. "...less than 1.4 million were sold to the public". check one of my prior posts for a link to proof.

NO.

And the game wont stop selling, of course the boom already passed, zealots like myself bough the game at launch of very shortly after, But then again, this game wont stop selling.

umm YES!!!

if wii-fit sold 1.4 million units this year alone and is number 8 in the top 10 best selling list of this year, what does that mean for mgs4? that means it sold less than 1.4 million. DUH!! just because a self-proclaimed zealot like yourself bought the game on launch doesn't everyone who owns the ps3 will buy the game. the same wway that not every 360 owner bought gears, halo 3, or bioshock.

the game won't stop selling? this thread is full of proof that it already stopped selling and you still refuse to believe it. face it, no casual or hardcore gamer wants to buy an interactive movie for $60. only the zealots/mgs fans like yourself. mgs4 may have scored a 10 here on gs, but sales wise, it's a ------- flop!

hell halo 3 sold more units in 24 hours in just the us than mgs 4 sold in 2 months worldwide. halo 3 us sale: 24 hours

let's do some math shall we.

24 hour us sale = $170 million

$170,000,000 / $120 (cost of the legendary edition) = 1,416,666 or 1.42 million units @ $120 each

$170,000,000 / $70 (cost of the limited edition) = 2,428,571 or 2.49 million units at $70

$170,000,000 / $60 (cost of regaular edition) = 2,833,333 or 2.83 million units @ $60

ouch. teh pwnage.

And because the game was the second coming of Jesus, thats why everyone stopped talking and caring about Halo 3 and moved over to CoD4 the second it came out.

Sales do matter for the sake of a game's production cost and weither or not a sequel should be made, but don't equate to a game being great. Hell look at the Wii, every single person I know says that they bought into the hype, bought one, played it for a few weeks, and now the system is just sitting on shelves.

This gen's console market has been pushed so far up the casual moron's ass that sales don't mean a damn thing in terms of quality.

[QUOTE="jonnyt61"]

[QUOTE="blitzkid1"]360 was sold out in jpan, you FAIL.blitzkid1

:) See, this is why I could make this post, delusional Lems who actually believed Tales was a sign of things to come

What are you talking about, Japan stores said the thing sold out, microsoft made a statement saying thier sorry for the sellouts/.

Microsoft should have said "Sorry everyone, we didn't think we'd ever sell our original shipment of 360's at this point. 10k more 360's are on the way".

[QUOTE="air_wolf_cubed"]No. Nintendo doesnt develop games for them so its the 3rd party's fault for making crap not Nintendo'sGamer556

No, it is Nintendo's fault. If they had made a more capable machine, developers would actually care to make something for it. If you're a developer and you want to commit a few years of your life to something really great and really ambitious, you're not going to pick the Wii. The userbase isn't hardcore enough to turn a profit, and the machine probably doesn't have enough juice to actually run what you have in mind.
