Care to name it? It's just your almost word-for-word explanation of winning lottery that makes me doubt that.

[QUOTE="james28893"]I don't because science has disproved so much of the Bible its hard to believe any of it is true. I also find it hard to believe in something with infinite power and knowledge that doesn't require a creator. Also there's the fact that the leaders of religion today have, after things they believed to be true have been disproven, try to alter what has already been written (see Creationsim).jesseandnikki
Actually that's misleading. Science is actually starting to point towards the idea that there is a creator/God. Like how near impossible it is for Darwanism to be true. Scientifically and mathematically it is more likely for you and your whole extended family to win the lottery every week of their life from the time they turn 18 than it is for spontaneous generation to create life.
There's a lot more things I read from this book that was very interesting and logical. If I had the book I would definitely share some of it. Even for non-believers it's very interesting stuff to think about.
As for there being "too much contradiction on God" to believe...that's the point. You don't see and then believe, you believe and then you see. If it was easy to believe in God then everyone would.
I've seen that video on youtube. You should try and read comments and/ or video responses (you wouldn't be posting this if you did)
God exists outside of our space/time domain. He wasn't created by anyone or anything. He just is. He's the supernatural being that has omniscience perspective on everything in the world because he lives in infinity. jesseandnikkiIsn't it impossible for a god to be outside our unverse because then he/she/it would be unable to influence our universe in any way? (because energy is constant)
The chance of it arranging itself in the way the life on our planet is arranged is a statistical impossibility.

I love when people go into probabilities cause they do not even know what they are talking about.
To state that it is impossible to happen, you must understand how universe(s) is(are) created. You must understand the processes( whether they are random, or obey certain laws) during the creation. Do you? Maybe there was only one way for our universe to come to existence.
You cannot make a graph without data, and right now, you do not have the data.
[QUOTE="Atrus"][QUOTE="Revinh"]They WERE perfect. Ever heard of the Original Sin?Revinh
With what conditions were they perfect? If we are imperfect by comparison what are the differences between us and them?
Perfect meaning they were immortal, free from sickness and death, I already told you that before.
And that, my friend, contradicts everything we know about human body.
It's not impossible tolive that long way back then when humans were close to being perfect.
did that answer ur ?
Revinh
No. It is impossible for them to be perfect humans because there is nothing like a standart where you can measure how human you are. There is no a perfect human. However let's just assume it is possible. Let's assume they were perfect. Their generation would still be perfect even now. Genes do not dilute.

Bible "contradictions"
There are none.

I looked through the links and, well, didn't find find anything about men having children at 180+ years. That's kind of contradictory, isn't it? Oh, and men living like a thousand years doesn't count too? I'm hoping for a rational answer; not a "god did it".
Sooooooo... anyone got anything about that ^^^

Is he saying that since a god contorls him therefore he cannot prove that the god exists?Anyone asking for proof of God, let me ask you something; do I control God? I'll ask it again. DO I CONTROL GOD?Well then how couldI prove Godif HE controls me? :o If I could prove God...wouldn't that make me in control of God? Arrogant to even think. An arrogant thought to begin with. That's not how it works.NostraSamus
If that is what he is saying.... well: Do slaves control their master? No. How can slaves prove that their master exists, if he controls them? If slaves can prove that their master exists that would not make them in control of the guy...
