Last generation lasted 8 years and it was the longest generation in console history. Generations historically last five or six years.

@silversix_: the best selling halo game is halo 3. Halo 5 has sold more in 8 months than halo 3 did in 12 months. It's doing well even by halo standards. Where do you get this claim that half the player base "left"?

@silversix_: you think halo 5 is selling poorly? It's not.
