I concur, Final Fantasy Crisis Core is an Action RPG, it still has the customization things as well, for a First timer for an RPG, Crisis Core is a great way to get started. On the other hand, War of the Lions and Jeanne D'Arc are more complex RPGs. Get the anniversary edition of Final Fantasy 1 if you want to start well, at the start.

War of the Lions is the best game of all on PSP. But it is an SRPG but not a simply RPG.It you would like to try tradional rpgs I will have to introduce Final Fantasy 1+2. They are not a bit complex so in other words kinda boring.....

If you would like to try FF7CC..I must say it's the best choice

FFVII CC is an action rpg. I think this is OK. In fact I don't see many rpg games on PSP. If you can read Japanese Tales of destiny 2 would be a nice chose.

I just played both of the games. I think:

FFVII cc looks great and has a nice story...perfect movies... but I should say(just my personal idea): not a good game. the battle is kinda boring for me

TWEWY is more interesting as a game. Fresh ideas, fashions...Ok comprhensively I will go with FFVIICC

Dear CrimsonSilver,

Is it the 1vs.1 battle in a narrow place like a bridge? From the damage 140....it should be that one.
First of all check if you have the equipments which can absorb LIGHTING. (or nullify LIGHTING) this way it will make this battle really simple. But looks like you have not been fully prepared, then you may try the 2nd way.
It's a bit complex: (have you mastered YELL(much better if youve mastered SCREAM) in Ramza's original job?) change back to his original job, add ITEM in his 2nd action slot. Equip everything that will make you walk further. Since twice of his attacks can only take you 140+140=280 damages and your HP is 319, you just need to pay GREAT attention to the ACT LIST and restore(I don't know how to call it, but use your triangle button the check in the list who can firstly act)

1) when your move is at least 5.
after his first 140 attack, use Hi-potion to restore, stay at where you are. That guy will attack again and move back. This time, you should move to the opposite direction(to the farthest place from him) and use Hi-potion again. and next turn he will come back to you again but you are already out of his attack range. Use YELL or SCREAM to speed up. Then repeat the progress. Very soon you will find you are much more faster than him.

2) when you can move 4 at most
no matter what happens, stay where you are and restore with HI-potion. Don't move to save CT gauge(make you act earlier next turn)pay attention to the TURN LIST and you will find a chance to act twice. Use this chance to speed up. Then repeart.

when you are much faster than that guy, don't directly attack because he has COUNTER. Just throw stones. Don't worry. You can consecutively act for more than 5-6 times now and he doesn't have any ability to restore. Because of your speed, the coming battle becomes easy as well.

Oh, what is the amount of HP hi-potion heals you? If it is not 150 you have to be MUCH more patient. Sorry I can not really remember. But the method works I promise.

Personally, I feel that it is not that most games suck but that there are not many games being released. It has been slim pickings since the end of November and it looks to continue until March (Crisis Core).

Yes, I agree. However, not many games being released on NGC as well, but you can find a GREAT number of cool games.
