If this is true, it was a poor choice of phrases to use in the assignment. Keeping religion out of the public classroom means avoid the subject in courses that do not demand the discussion. This just invite controversy, especially in an elementary or secondary school.

I just want to know who exactly was the target audience was for Jem and the Holograms--the director alienated original fans of the show by eviscerating just about everything that the show was known for, and tried to make it relevant to modern audiences by playing up the social media angle--and wound up with one of the worst openings for a major studio release. Now he's facing some pretty harsh backlash, and any plans he had for a "Hasbro Cinematic Universe" is dead in the water...thank god.
