Well, last night i went off to go see Oceans 13, the newest installment of the ocean series. *ahem* Andrew if your reading this you still suck *ahem* Anyway, the movie stars a whole lot of hollywood talent and has some of the biggest names in the business oncluding George clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt damon, al pacino amongst others.

Overall, the movie, like the other 2, feels very suave. It gets to the point of being so witty and full of itself that it ends up hurting its overall movie expirence, as each character ends up finishes his or her lines and interuppting at such points it makes it feel as if there is a consise script each character follows, rather than feeling spontaeous like the other 2. That was quite a runon sentence eh?

All the actors do a fairly good job portraying their roles, but it does feel as though clooney took a step back from this one and doesnt play as prominent a role. As a matter of fact, neither does brad pitt. This movie is all about Al pacino, as the snobby, egotisticle character Banks.

HIDDEN SCROLL 2/10/08

He is in about every scene of this movie, and the story revolves around the old gang getting revenge on him, for almost killing their friend. The movie is very well made, certainly has its funny moments, and is definatly better than #2, but still does not live up to the first one, and may not be worth your 8$ movie ticket. I say wait for the DVD.

Well, i recently went to go see the greatly reviewed movie, Knocked up with Charlie, Brandon and Christina *Aherm*Andrew if your reading this you suck*Ahrem* I saw the 40 year old virgin and thought it was hilarious, and i have to say that Knocked up greatly expands over that movie, since not only is it funnier, but better in many different ways.

First off, the main character, Ben Stone is a seemilngly average guy. Yes, he has no real job or money, and lives with his buddies, but he comes off as a really average person, and when he has a one night stand with a gorgeous girl.

Eventually, she gets pregnant and they have to figure out what they will do, and so they decide to work out theyre differences and try to live life together.

Overall the whole movie was very well made and extremly funny. All of the jokes felt very "real" as much of the humor isnt random, its more of real life situations that are hilarious.

Best joke in the movie? The one where

[spoiler] When one of the roomates says he shaved his pubes and his other roomate exlaims that the last time he did it he left the pubes all over the toilet and his crap looked like a stuffed animal when he was done [/spoiler] OMG i was dying of laughter during that part. :lol:

Well, we went into the theatre about 7:00, and got prime seats. people came in dressed as pirates and such and took photos which was quite annoying, but after an hour of waiting, we were ready to watch. .....

8:05 i glance at my watch.
8:09 The previews are still running
8:16 I begin to get angry
8:22 The manager comes out and apoligizes for the delay, promises movie momentarily
8:32 I glance at my watch
8:40 movie starts

All continues well, and the movie is quite splendid, until one part when [spoiler] elisabeth is in the singapore captains room and the side of the ship exploded, gravely injuring the captain [/spoiler] and as she looks at him, the screen goes black all of a sudden.

WTF, the screen just went black.

9:42: Screen goes black
9:44 Kyle leaves for more popcorn w/ screen still black
9:48 movie resumes but with no sound
9:50 movie has sound again

Okay. so it continues. The we get to the part where [spoiler] elisabeth is talking to that one admirl guy, as he is helping her escape the flying dutchman [/spoiler] when the screen goes black again.

WTF, the screen went black. again.

So we wait watching the damn commercialized stuff for like 10 min, and the stupid stupid stupid frogs singing about rules.

So the movie resumes and [spoiler] the admiral guy has a sword through his chest and is dying while elisabeth is in the water [/spoiler] WTF! What happened in that time period? Then a minute later, the screen goes black again!!!

WTF! The screen went black a third time. Yet again. growing tiresome of this.

And cuts straight to daylight somehwere and jack is in the middle of one of his lines. Great. More stuff that i missed becuz of the damn theatre.

And so the rest of the movie goes great, with awesom battles and such.

But, Im angry, since they didnt give us any explanations or any refund, and caused an awesome movie to not be as enjoyable as it should have been.

As for the movie itself, watch it. VEry good. 

Well after hearing that pirates 3 tickets were sold out today in school, we drove out to the theatre at and managed to snag us 4 tickets for the first showing of pirates 3! Hell yeah! Its starts at 8:00 PM, but we'll probobly be there around 6ishjust to get good seats. Cant wait, this movies gonna rock!

Death of a Hero

Naruto stands up, weary of his attacks and looks head on to the dark figures standing in front of him. The dark shadows strike him across the cheek and as he tries to dodge, he get attacked once more as his forehead protector comes off. He lands on a rock, and in desperation, attempts to start one more rasengan in his hand. Flashes forward, and sakura and the rest of the konoha ninja are standing in front of agrave, one with a konoha headband on it. Sakura drops to her knees and starts to cry, screaming "NARUTO"

This is the newest trailer released for the Naruto shippuuden movie, Which is due to come out today, April 21st (or so the translation says) although we also have conflicting news saying it comes out August 14, or Aug 4th.

This is breaking news! If the movie intends to actually kill of Naruto and fight all the members of the Akatsuki, then it will be breaking the storyline of the manga and heading in a seperate direction. I belive that the movie will not actually kill of Naruto, since in fact he IS the main character of a series a series named after him!

Although the stroy is not revelaed at all, i believe that Naruto may "disappear" in this movie, and all they find is his headband, causing the others to think that he died, when in fact he didnot. This is of course, all speculation on my part, but i cant really see where else they would take this concept.

So what do you guys think? it looks like Naruto is way older in this movie than what he has been shown so far, especially the part in the end where he is kneeling down and starts his rasengan.

well, i decided to take some still shots photos of the extended trailer. so i zoomed in and took some photos  Here are some of the things that you should notice:

there are 8 dark figures visible here....In shippuuden right now there are 9, until the end of the gaara retreval arc, in whch there will be 8. In the manga soon after they replace sasori with tobi, so there would be 9 again, until hidan and kakuzu are beaten so theyre would be 7 in the manga right now.

edit: after watching it again, it seems the camera pans to the right and reveals one more figure, so there are 9 figures...so this cant take place after the manga...it has to take place sometime after the gaara retreival arc and before the hidan and kazumu arc..

and what is this? maybe sasori's puppets? But he doesnt last through the gaara retrieval arc so.....what can these things be?

maybe one of the leaders mysterious attacks? We havent seen any of his attacks yet, and this may just beone of them...

does anyone else think that Naruto looks older in this shot? Hell, this almost reminds me of a DBZ Still

Yep, this is that save the dubie did that i told you about in the last blog post. In case you wanted to see it, here the video of it, I highly recommend it. Anyway right now the series is 2-1 in favor of the Buffalo sabers. Let me remind you though, that the NY islanderhad the worst start in islander history, and were predicted to be the worst team of 2007, after doing god-awful in 2006. The sabers on the other hand are the #1 team in the NHL today, and have an amazing record. So the worst team in the NHL, miraculosly making it to the playoffs, is up against the best team in the NHL.

And you know what?

We are still holding our ground! Can the underdogs come through after all? Can the worst team in the NHL pull off an amazing upset and beat the Sabers? Only time will tell....
