I own Dawn of War chaos rising gold edition, and it runs through Steam. however, steam seems to want to download it rather then install it of the the CD, and i definetly down want that to happen. Iv tryed running other ..exe and such but i cannot get it to install of the disc.

If anyone is having the same problem and knows the answer, please help!

I remember last time this happened i had to download some sort of program to bypass steam, but i cannot find it on the net!?!

My PC specs are: interl core i3 3.2 GHZ 2 cores 4 threads, ASUS HD 5750 Formlula Graphics card, 4 GB ddr3 RAM, twin 500 GB HDD's and a 500 watt PSU on win 7 ultimate 64 bit.

Cheers.

lol!

ok, i am planning on running multiple versions of windows on my PC because certain PC games will only run on older operating systems. I would want to get win 7, but, even if i get a good deal, its over $100. This, is alot. The build cost me a a little over $500, and i am done with spending money on my PC, as i am now saving for an $800 amplifier. I want Xp, because it is better then win 7 and vista, no matter what you say, xp was microsofts best OS. Yes i want it, but its too $ for now. The only reason i wanted 64 bit XP was becasue my PC does not pic up all 6 GB of my RAM. And at the moment, i am going to reload on a seperate HDD to save totaly destroying my old OS.

you people are so damn ignorant. theres heaps of animals that produce milk for ther children. Aswell as this you find genetically modified food all over the world. Cows milk is designed for cows, not for humans. Human milk is designed for humans, so if you rink it all the time you will be healthy., However genetically modifying cows to make human milk is very difficult, as there a thousands of genes which make up the milk and changing all these would be to difficult. ahh some people are so damn ignorant!

i have a pair of realistic x100 speakers, and they run well on another amplifier. I am planning on buying a yamaha amphttp://au.yamaha.com/en/products/audio-visual/hifi-components/amps/a-s500___g/?mode=model.

how loud do you rekon they will drive my speakers? speaker specs are: program power 100 watts (this =50 RMS i think), 8 ohm, 12 inch base, midrange and tweater, with a crossover network. and what speakers would you recomend for this amp?

I have win xp pro 32 bit running on my computer, and i am soon to reload it, for other reasons, with xp pro. Which bit should i choose? iv read stuff about how 32 bit only pics up 4 gig RAM max, so i might do 64. This seems to be true to a point as i have 6 gb installed and windows only pics up 3.5, bios pics up 6.

Is either better for gameing? i know that ps3 and xbox run on 128, and i read somewere that higher bit can be used for better graphics.

im not necacarily going to actuilly overclock, i wanted to know what my limitations might be and the feasability of it all. I dont need to now, but in the future it might roll around. The video card so far runs great, and im not planning on upgrading it as i just got it, the total build cost me 500, postage and all, so im not going to go and spend 2-300 on a card when the one i got cost me 160.

yes i have a very general problem with the computer. Sometimes it will randomly restart itself and on startup have a message about critical system error, to do with windows files. as well as this these games: oblivion, dow 1, dow 2, CoD 2 and a few demos wil randomly shutdown saying "program needs to close bla bla" ect. at first i thought that each game had issues, but with a brand new dow 2 gold edition playing up, (randomly closing aswell now) and the computer randomly shutting down, i thought that it probly all relates to windows files being corupt ect so i will reload completly.
