@Gedden @analogjunkie24 I actually would have been fine if they would have killed off Sam Fisher (I know he is an iconic character but at this point in the Splinter Cell mythos he must be at least pushing 60), made Grim head of Fourth Echelon, and let you play as a new agent instead. You simply cannot have Sam Fisher without Michael Ironside.
Here are the most noticeable Splinter Cell sins committed by this newest iteration in this once great franchise: 1. No Ironside 2. Return of Mark and Execute 3. Armored, bullet sponges 3. Mid-mission cutscenes 4. Scripted chase sequences 5. Sonar goggles (yet another hand-me-down from Conviction). Its quite a shame really. I remember back when being a Tom Clancy title meant something.
