@GameYakuza @i_noseworthy @Texasguy @analogjunkie24 Sorry if I came off as a bit meanspirited. The L.A games I grew up with were TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, and the Dark Forces games. I only just recently discovered their point and click games on Steam so I didn't pick up on the connection.

@jhonMalcovich Says the person who's (poorly spelled) nickname is that of a famous actor.

@GameYakuza Yes, the centuries' old rivalry between these two completely random publishers who weren't even competing against each other is finally over.

I remember back in the 90s and early 2000s when Lucas Arts created top tier content. They had all the bases covered: the Dark Forces series for the shooter fans, Fate of Atlantis and Secret of Monkey Island for the point and click fans, TIE Fighter and X-Wing Alliance for the space sim fans, Empire at War for the RTS/TBS fans, and lets not forget the epic Knights of the Old Republic for the RPG fans. I must say, however, that the last Lucas Arts title that I truly enjoyed was Empire at War back in 2006 and their games since then have been quite disappointingly lackluster. I think their best days are behind them as I wasn't really excited for 1313 (cover-based shooters are a dime a dozen these days). I may have not liked the direction the company was going but I hope for the best for the staff who were laid off.

@i_noseworthy @jhonMalcovich Don't even bother with this kid, he couldn't even spell his own nickname properly.

@Saint_Kaiser @analogjunkie24 Its not just my reality that is weak, its me. I thought I would be able to wither the storm of negative feedback but since reading your comment I began to realize how pathetic my life really is. Posting these comments are the highlight of my day, isn't that sad? I usually get great feedback from them, which makes me feel as if I contributed something. My social life is non-existent. 21 years old; off for spring break and I haven't left the house since Saturday to work at my one day a week part time job at my local library. I am just some lazy, fat, and socially awkward pile of human waste who lives with his parents. My opinion is worth nothing which is more than I can say about the sub-human it belongs to.

I can't see how anyone can enjoy a game series that consists of 75% cinematics and 25% gameplay. Don't tell me its because of the story: just TRY to summarize the series' over-bloated, labyrinthine, and downright ridiculous overarching story that currently spans nine iterations without navigating away from this page. I remember when Konami actually started taking down videos of walkthroughs and lets plays of MGS4 on YouTube that contained spoilers (as if the average joe can comprehend what the hell was happening). If Kojima meant for his "masterpieces" to be watched and not played he should of gone into the movie business. As for this newest upcoming iteration, to me it is just another piece of a puzzle which will form a piece to an even bigger puzzle.

@fishforme2 If you've done your research, you'd find that the citizens of Columbia worship the founding fathers of America. Its not this game's views on religion stopping you from playing this game, its yours.
