@Ricardo41: Go into the edit page of the particular stack, and in the top right corner, you'll see a text field that as default, says "Add a Game." That's the only way to do it right now. Now note that the edit page doesn't load if you have more than 20 or so games. It is a known bug right now.

Now that E3 is done and over with, is there an ETA for the new stacks? In particular, when is the platform going to be implemented?

E3 is going on, and I can't edit my stacks. Adding the games I want to my wishlist.... come on GameSpot. Fix!

I think most of the staff is at E3. I don't think this is going to get fixed in time...

The most important new feature was one that was present in Collections. The ability to group/list all games according to a platform. I've told Lark this, and it is so fundamental that I find myself questioning the design decision that was actually made that deprived the stacks of this feature. But Lark assured me that this feature was coming back. So I am eagerly awaiting its return.

On the same note, I'd like to ask one question. In my Wish List on the old GS webpage, I had added games on different platforms to the same list. The platform information has been lost when GS transitioned to the new site. Will these platform information be recovered when the platform feature is added or is it gone for good?

Once that feature is programmed in, would it be possible to add a feature where you add a drop down box in the row of the game in the stack, with all the platforms that it's been released for games that are released for multiple platforms? For example, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been released for the Wii and the GC. If I have the game in a stack I named 'To Buy,' I should be able to select and find out what version has been ranked higher depending on the GS rankings on the same page. That would be a cool feature. If this isn't clear, let me know and I'll try to do a better job of describing this further.

Other features are the features I like to call the Union and the Intersection. If I have two or more stacks, it would be nice to see the two stacks combined (union). Or what games are in both stacks (intersection). This would particularly be useful if we were to compare our stacks with our friends' stacks... as long as they had made their stacks visible. That would make gamespotting very pleasurable... at least for me. I'll think of a number of other features.

@anarayan: We've actually just now pushed out a fix for one of the bugs around this--you can now view a Stack with 100+ games in it and see pages 2+. We'll be working on the other bug (you're unable to load your entire 100+ game Stack in edit mode) next.

That's awesome! I am able to see all the games now. Hope the edit function is fixed soon. Thanks Lark!

Hey Lark, sorry to post about this again, but the site is unable to populate the edit page of my large (near or over 100 games) stacks. When I try to click on the "Edit This Stack" button, only a few games are listed in the page that loads up, and many (actually most) of the games are missing. The edit page doesn't populate it with the whole list of games in the stack. Now given that the site can only list the first 100 games in each stack due to a known bug, I am unable to view/edit all the games in the stack. Is there any fix to this? Thanks!

I can only see 100 games of the 458 games in my collection. How come I can't see all of them?

That is a known-recently bug. However, if you go into edit mode, you are supposed to be able to see all of your games, but I don't. And if you have many games, I get a bug wherein when I "Move" a game to another stack, or "Delete", the an extra game is missing on my stack from which I am moving or deleting. It is depressing to watch the number of games I had carefully placed into my "Wanted" stack be reduced in this manner.

@anarayan: @dab198: Thanks for letting us know about this issue--I've got a bug filed for it and I'll let you know once it's fixed!

Any word on the bugs I reported earlier (see my 2 previous posts on this thread) with the Move function Lark? Have you been able to recreate them? Thanks!

@LarkAnderson: I wouldn't call what it is doing now "fixed".

What it does now is just show the first 100 and claim there are only 100 items in it, when in fact there are 900+. The other 800 items can't be viewed unless in edit mode, where it splits up into pages.

Collections are going to be big, so limiting to a view of only 100, without any other pages, seems like a flaw (especially since you are doing paging for editing).

Completely agree, @dab198. I didn't notice it until just now. It is unfortunately, a step backward for GS.

@LarkAnderson: Lark, I thought that the bug (deleting an extra game I didn't want to delete when doing a move) from a stack was due to Firefox. I have hence been able to replicate that with Chrome as well. Now I am down to 135 Wanted games... :( The problem is I don't know which games it deletes.

I tried creating a 2 ordered test stacks, and moved games from one stack to the other in Chrome. Worked perfectly. However, Wanted stacks are unordered now. I haven't tried to mess around with unordered stacks yet. I did try to move 1 game from one ordered stack to another in Firefox, and it deletes an additional game here as well. This is confusing as heck. Something funky is going on. I can't make head or tails of it now. Please let me know if you want more details.

For anyone who MUST modify stacks, I recommend using Chrome. Though there are issues with Chrome as well, but significantly less issues.

Lastly, I am posting 2 consecutive posts in this thread. I hope the system doesn't ban me like it did the last time I posted two in a row. I am not padding up my post count or spamming. I am giving valuable feedback to the GS community. I hope the system recognizes that, but if it doesn't, someone please help!

edit: I am getting an error saying "You posted too many messages in a row." And I can't post anymore on this thread. I should be able to post more than one message in a row because I am helping the community iron out its bugs. Someone please fix this. Thanks!
