You have a 6 megaBYTE connection to the internet? That would seem unlikely unless you've got your own backbone connection. Most cable for internet run at 6megaBIT per second. essjae

Thank you! I got my bits and bytes mixed up there.

That should work fine. I've got a couple d-link routers with wifi combos and they work great.

Personally, I'd look for one with wifi, for upgrading later, and also some kind of firewall

if you can get something with SPI (stateful packet inspection) you're better off.essjae

Man, been away for a while, away this one  looks good but it says that the speed is 108mbps which is 13.5 mega bytes per second, I have a 6 meg per second connection and I have 3 computers running on that does that mean It cant processes (6 megs by 6 megs by 6 megs) or that that the total speed cant exceed 13.5 megs, which mine wouldn't. Im so confused. Please only post something that will help.

I'v been thinking of getting a router for 2 computers and a 360 recently. My connection is Comcast 6 megs. My friend has one of these LINKSYS BEFSR41. The problem is that a lot of reviews say that when there is more than light browsing the router locks up and the only way to reset it is to unplug it, with 6 megs a second I think that that would be a huge problem. BTW my friend has a much slower connection than me. I want to be able to take advantage of the speed. Anyone have any advice on this router or a different one that is good from around the same price?

Can anyone help me pick a reasonable priced (about 50 bucks) wired router. I am going to have a gaming comp, one plain comp, and an xbox 360 hooked up at the same time. I don't know if I need a nicer router to take advantage of my 6 meg connection or what. I was thinking about this one as I know someone who has it an it is cheap:

Any help would be appreciated.

I bought my slim ps2 used and always wanted to get the official sony made stand. I could never find it where ever I looked. Is this the official one? http://www.amazon.com/Naki-World-78055-Vertical-Stand/dp/B0007VNGDA/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-3846925-5919935?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1175378383&sr=8-1

Or do you think this one is better?

If you can find one would you put up a pic of it? thx in advance

ya, only about half of the images load and the rest have little boxes with red x's in them.
