there is one coming out very soon according to play.com. i read it said something like june/july but surely thats not right and yes i would love to get the new one, as the old one got very bad reviews!

i dont think it sounds bad.... use your imagination...a sailing sim... how about a pirate sailing sim where 4 players are on one ship and they have to try to take down the the ship or pass the finish line first still sounds awful...

I doubt there will be something that's considered a Gears of War Killer for the Wii, its just not graphically powerful enough. Wii is, in a way, forced into cartooney-style graphics. Metroid is Wii's Halo Killer and I don't think Nintendo will get anything better than that. These WWII shooters will not match up since they are probably better played on other systems. Its not the lack of red blood in games that bothers me, its the lack of mature content for gamers that are 25+ years, people who didn't grow up with Pokemon/YU-GI-OH and just are not interested in those types of games. Will Nintendo ever see something like a Max Payne game for Wii? Doesn't seem likely. I know that Wii is all about being user-friendly casual family system but what about the hardcore gamer who wants something more than simple minigames? There's not much out there for them right now. that is a very good point. Hopefully nintendo will release more mature games like Resident Evil4 On GC
