Saturday night I jumped on to play some texas hold em and I got the red rings.  I called Microsoft and they first tried to tell me I was out of warranty and out of luck.  I told the nice guy on the phone that I was active in online communities and had heard of a defect in launch consoles and that Microsoft was repairing machines at no charge.  After putting me on hold for 10 min. the guy came back and processed a work order to get my box repaired at no charge.  Just have to wait a few weeks for them to send it back.  If your xbox was a launch system make sure you are covered under a warranty.  Dont think it will never happen to you.  I had a launch system that worked perfectly.... until.

I have really slacked on my blogs.  Not just this one but myspace as well.  I dont feel like anyone is reading them anyway.  I hoped to provide some funny and useful info in my blogs but sometimes the funny witty stuff is slow coming or just unoriginal.  Just to fill you in (as if you care) I did find a good fighting game.  Bleach is awesome, wish it was in English so maybe my friends would get it too but its a solid fighting game and that was what I was looking for.  Not been playing much 360 lately , except when friends come over to play madden.  Great game BTW.  Well thats all for now.

Well DBZ sucked.  Lots of great characters but as a fighting game is was lame.  I dont want to even get into detail what was wrong but it was just not good.  I have just ordered Bleach today from Link-Sang for $50.  Im real curious to see how long it will take to get here.  Im hoping Ill just forget that I ordered it and it will be a wonderful surprise in about a week or so.  If not the wait will drive me crazy.  Thats all for now.

Ok, so I love fighting games and the DS is the best handheld system with one flaw.. no Good fighting games. I have been pondering importing Bleach for a while now but im hoping to find something in english for less $$$$.

First game to "audition" was Guilty Gear. I rented this one from gamefly. When I turned off the gay icon things that I couldnt figure out how to use the game was ok. Guilty Gear characters were nicely animated with 4 levels of fighting it was kind of fun for a while... until I tried to block. When your trying to block something your guy turns around and you end up getting hit in the back. and when your trying to turn around you end up blocking.. the controls are just a little broken. There needs to be a block Button when fighting with more than 2 people. Is there a block button in Super smash brothers? Its been a while and I cant remember, but that is what this game was close too. Overall this game was fun for a few hours but I know the DS can do better.

Next is the DBZ fighting game. I have high hopes for this one although it got bad reviews. Gamespot did score it highter than GG and they always diss on DBZ games. (haters) I used to love DBZ and Im still waiting for a good DBZ game to come to a console I actually own.

I have to take a few min. to spread the good word on this new Superman movie.  It was AWESOME.  From the opening credits to the end I was hooked.  What a good story too , I wont say more because Im glad when I saw it I had no idea of what the plot was going to be... If someone had told me I might have though it a bit cheezy but WOW what a movie.  Ill say no more but GO SEE IT.

The New DS Lite that is.  If you really like your current DS and want to save money by not buying a system you already own then just stop reading.  If you ever lay your eyes on these beautiful screens you will be ripping money out of your pockets and throwing down for this game system.  Animal crossing, a game I have not played in months now looks like a brand new game.  The colors look so much sharper and brighter, Im seeing things in the graphics and backgrounds that I never noticed before.  With the trade in to EB of $30 plus a bonus $20 they were running that day I got a $50 trade in for my red DS.  If I had just gotten paid and had more $$$ I would have not traded that system in.  Im hating myself for it but my new DS is so awesome Im quicklly getting over it.  Now what to play.  I had been waiting to finish Mario on my new DS lite and last night beat the final bowser.  Maybe ill just play that game over again, like I would have done back in the old days.  Oh and I also picked up Minish Cap.  Gotta get some Zelda, cant wait to get the new game for DS.

This maze game is sure to test your skills at the mouse.  Try it out, I must be really bad because I cant get past level 3.
