@p1p3dream: It's basically the iPhone vs Android argument. People think that iPhone is better because of the smoothness of apps. But in reality, iPhones are easier to program for since there's not much difference between models. Androids on the other hand, can do much more in terms of raw performance, but optimization is hard due to dozens of companies making their own versions.

For example, Skyrim load times were already long on the 360. But on the PS3, it was slow as hell. That's because the game was developed for 3 consoles, PS3 being the more difficult to work with.

Exclusives are made solely for the PlayStation, so they have better optimization. Just like an iPhone.

@hushed_kasket: I think you have redneck and hillbilly confused. As a "city folk" even I know the term redneck means some sort of manual laborer in a rural area, which gives them their red neck. There's no attack on character loaded in the word.

Hillbilly is used for the backwards groups of people in rural areas. The term is used for whites that say things like "Kill all muslims! Kill Obama! Deport all Mexicans! Kill Hillary!" Hillbilly is appropriate for the game's antagonists.

@Triton: Japan's consumers tend to buy Japanese brands more. Japanese businesses also give them better treatment.

When Pokemon Go was huge, if you looked at Japan on pokevision, they had all the rare pokemon available 24/7.

American brands tend to do bad over there.

@sladakrobot: True so many people can't play with their friends because they have different consoles. Most people just want to play with their friends instead if cry over which console they have.

@joshrmeyer: Microsoft owns Minecraft. They can do whatever they want with their game.

@BigFeef: Microsoft was run by different people back then and Sony's network was always being hacked. Sony has a better network and Microsoft has a better staff that they used to.
