is there a lot of difference between 2 at 8 and 2 at 16? Cuz the way i had my setup i had two at 16 but with the amd processor. but since i changed my processor to intel i had to change the motherboard too so i dont know, what u think

The first one says that two cards will run at 8x, and the asus doesnt say anything about that. Also i read it supports quad sli how is that if it only has 3 pci16 slots???

Out of the two, get the ASUS. As for quad crossfire from three PCI-e slots, think dual GPU cards. Two 5970's = 4 GPU cores = Quad crossfire.
