It's really up to you. Personally, if I was spending that much, I'd want the latest and greatest. However, if you DO stick with AMD, you might want to drop to the phenom2 X4 965. No games will take advantage of 6 cores, so you may as well save that cash, and use it on an SSD or save for later.RoggirekWow 159 aint bad at all

Also i chose those parts thinking about the future since i dont wanna be changing parts every 3 months feel me. Thanks for your suggestion. Ima take a look at it and see how much id save.
You REALLY don't want to gamble on the PSU, it could potentially kill every other component in your PC. Also, I do hope you are aware that anything beyond regular crossfire is going to get poor scaling and spotty game support. As far as mobo's go, x8 x8 really will not hurt your performance all that much, its usually like 2-5% vs 16/16.RoggirekSo should i go with the sandy bridge or should i stick with my amd 6 core?

Go with the Asus mobo. And switch PSU to something like the Antec TPQ1000W. BFG is defunct, so when something goes wrong with the PSU, you've got nowhere to go...

Yes i know but i dont think that psu is going to brake down. Plus i like this psu bcuz it has 8 pins instead of four like that antec and the price is very good. Ima take my chances you never know bro, maybe its worth the try.[QUOTE="angelyoel"]Help please trynna buy it tonightjtcraftWhat specs are you looking at getting since there have been numerous suggestions already?

But i dont know if this setup is right anymore since somebody told me that processor is 2 gens behind and i should get those new intel but if i do i gotta change my mobo and that makes it all complicated again since all the mobos ive seen are way to expensive and most of them dont even support 2 video cards at 16x. If i go with this setup i can get two at 16x, and 4 at 8x.
also this mobo looks very good.
