hahaha, I'm sure some low-level intern like yourself is trustworthy. Why do you drones feel the need to lie? How sad is your life that you have to lie to nustify your choice of a system?
so then we really don't know if Sony didn't drop DRM due to the trouble MS got into then do we? All we have is their word on it and a registered patent for the tech.
Yes it had a drm, but as MS said, you could still trade and give games to friends. You could also sell your games as well, just had to be authorized dealers.
It was up to the developer on how used games would be handled. MS would not receive any profits from this. You would've been able to allow a friend access to your library anytime, anyplace with no time restrictions. So you're in essence allowing a friend to borrow a game while giving you the opportunity to still play it. How is that not better than loaning a disc?
To me the whole thing is a trade-off. But people took to the rumors and made it into something it was not.
The spying thing has gotten way out of hand. The xbox division has not been named in any of this. However, if this is important to you, you should then be willing to get rid of all internet devices.
Further, the problem is not MS, it is the gov overreaching. Change the gov, not boycott a company that is legally mandated to turnover certain things to the gov. I'm nopt going to let a bad gov policy keep be from enjoying a product I like.
Of course there were going to be changes to what we were used too, but those changes offered a lot of good things. This is just an opinion of mine, but it's not unrealistic to think MS would've priced the games like steam does in the future.
