See I don't care if someone prefers a ps4, I just hate the lies and misinformation people spew. I've seen so many opinions and rumors as fact it pisses me off.
If someone doesn't like the x1, fine, but at least give facts to back up why they feel that way. It matters not to me if I own the system that's in second place for sales. People talk about these sales figures as if they impact their lives. It's nonsense.
It's obvious so many people gather their info from the comments sections on sites like this one, and then turn around and state it as fact.
I considered a ps4, but then I read up on what MS was going to do and I was excited about it. Sure there were somethings I'd like to have like renting games(something they said they were exploring), but the pros outweighed the cons.
I can't tell you how many times I've read people saying MS wasn't allowing for trading etc when that was clearly not the case.
not when you have douches like wolfy up there spouting lies and pretending to not be a fanboy.
Banging on MS and saying he loves steam shows he's either a moron and doesn't know what he's talking about, or he's just lying for some retarded reason.
doesn't matter because steam was more restrictive tha what MS would've been. You sir are a hypocrite. For someone who claims to not be a fanbuy, you have a funny way of showing it.
@WolfGrey how convenient that was done early this year. That is such a lame excuse. yeah, saying that a large corporation patents a slew of things illustrates how much you know. You really went out on a limb with that statement.
Bottom line is they wouldn't do this if they didn't intend on it. Hell, they want to do it to movies as well:
being in the know as you are, I'm sure you already knew that right.
If they didn't go with DRM because they were some ethical, loving company, they wouldn't have wasted resources developing it in the first place. Businesses don't spend money on things for the hell of it.
yes, but we don't have family share anymore. We can't transfer our license for the game to our friends online. You could have sold those games to your friends.
Goin 100% digital could have paved the way for steam-like prices.
MS policies said you could trade and buy used. There were just a few minor restrictions. The only thing that was a potential downside was not being able to put your games on craigslist or ebay. But the benefits outweighed this minor change.
With all respect, you didn't understand the pros and cons of the policies.
It's fine that you don't like them, but DRM is coming at some point. Sony has a patent on it(ive post the link already), we know MS wants it and developers want it.
