@Lordcrabfood @grasshopper6 Used to sell ps1 back in the days. When ps1 launched sony replaced every broken console no questions asked so they did ackowledge the problem.

It's true though, rrod is a thing of the past. Let it go already.

If it was only multiplayer that cost extra maybe I would be ok with it (they run multiplayer on ms owned servers don't they?). But when you have to pay to use Internet explorer or YouTube or Facebook then it is a real rip-off. Especially since they proudly announce those features on E3 for example but fail to mention that, by the way this will cost you extra to use. I have apps for those services on every platform I own (including my TV) but the only ones I'm not using is the Xbox ones.

@haikuof8bit And your comment is proof of you being a fanboy ;)

To question technical aspects and software solutions of a gaming console that the developer clearly do not mention is good for consumers. If for example I were to buy a Wii U and chose the 8 GB model and tried to download Nintendo Land I would be duly pissed when discovering that I couldn't due to lack of memory. Isn't that vital information?

The XBOX 360 4 GB model lets you use almost all 4 GB to save games and other content. Wii U ships with 8 GB but only let you use 3 GB to save content and you do not have to be biased to see that it is badly designed by Nintendo.

I do not think GS crew is a disgrace to the review community, nor do I believe they give "best reviews" to higher bidder and if you do believe that then maybe you should go to other sites for you gaming information

@icy1007 @osxgp It has been proven that power isn't all. It's how you can use whatever power that is inside. PS3 was more powerful than XBOX 360 but developers cannot use that power (most of them that is) so by comparison the XBOX is holding its own against PS3. If Nintendo has made a console as described in the article then it is bad for Nintendo because they seem to have limited themselfs by making bad software.

@kiwi15499 PS Move isn't that huge of a success and the PS Vita get a lot of hate so I can't agree with you. And you can't really compare Wii, which is a console, with Move, which is an add on for a console. PS3 is doing fine even without the Move while Wii would be even more dead hadn't it had motion control gaming.
