@caseyrybek: I get what you're saying here. I just don't see how the One X could possibly be considered one of the most important releases of this console generation, like gamestar73 indicated. I picked up a One X, but after already having had a Pro since launch, it didn't come close to blowing my mind or anything.

Don't get me wrong, I like the One X, but at this point I'm still pretty much playing games I had already played, they just look/run a bit better now.

I personally thought the Switch was the bigger story. Everyone said it would flop, but it's killing it. And 2 of the top picks for GoTY are on the little machine that could.

Just my opinion here of course :)

@gamestar73: How is the release of the One X more important than any other new console release? I think the Switch release was more noteworthy.

@Thanatos2k: There are plenty of sites that have scored this in the 7 range. And I never defended the score that was given, I simply refused to jump on the hate bandwagon without actually playing the game first.

So, how are you liking it then?

Looks and plays fantastic on the Pro. I adore this game.

@Thanatos2k: You're trying way too hard to defend a game that you maybe just started playing. If you said you had sunk a large number of hours into it, or had beaten it, and have issues with the review, then that could be a real discussion.

I adore the Xeno games, but I'm not going to call out any reviews until I've actually had a chance to play the game myself.

Blindly defending any game is just total fanboy-ish, plain and simple.

I'll be interested to hear what score you think this game should be, but only after you've lived with it for a bit, not before.
