If I remember right the code from the retail copy of Prey activates on Steam.

No Idea. Never activated it on Steam, played it long back. Will try shortly , thanks for the info :)

Seems to be the only way to get the game on Steam, wish they would just re-release the game on the store.

According to PC Gamer, the game is not officially delayed. The rumor TC cites has been debunked by the dev.

so if game is still coming out fall 2016 then where is our gameplay? its like releasing SP game before yet only showing MP portion.

we are in fall 2016. so i doubt its coming out soon.

Where are you getting 'fall 2016' from?

300 Staff, over 100 million budget. and its taken nearly 5 years at this point.

Those stats are roughly equal to GTA V development stats (although they had a lot less than 100m) so i'm expecting equal quality and longevity, if not then it was and always has been a scam

pretty dumb statement to make.

First 1-2 years of Star Citizen was building up that team.... and starting from scratch.

GTA FIVE!!! should be a dead giveaway, from a team that has been making the same game for well over a decade..... they are not in anyway the same.

I wonder how Rockstar would of handled this situation if it was the same? someone gave them 100m 300 staff and told them to make Grand Theft Auto 5 "Quality" ... without having a pre-assembled mega size team, and 5 other of the same games to build on...

GTA V is a totally new engine created with less staff on a slightly larger budget. there are absolutely no similarities between 4 and 5, its obvious this is the case. Its like comparing BF2 to Battlefront ... just because they are the same genre and same team does not mean they are using the same tech. Also it doesn't take 2 years to build up a team....

Also Rockstar didn't ask you to put down you money a hole HALF A DECADE before release with absolutely no guarantee of release and thus far has produced nothing of any significance.

PC gamers are gonna keep dreaming, the rest of us moved on years ago. By the time it does come out its going to look horrifically dated and you'll be lucky to find anyone willing to cough up to funding this massive, MASSIVE money making scam.

Also why anyone would trust roberts (given his history) i don't know. I just feel herms are too stubborn to admit their mistakes, the last game (recent) that was in development for any longer than 5 years was ACM and we all know what happened there..

Speaking of Rockstar and long dev times, where the heck is Agent? What is that over 9 years now?

@Juub1990: For a card that was supposed to have a much larger supply than the 1080 the RX 480 is nowhere to be seen and lost among the Other category.

It seems like the 5350 review numbers for the i3-4330 were off as the following month they had the score as 333.06 instead of 218.15:

With Doom 2016,

DF: "Our i3 budget PC plays most titles at console settings, but not in Doom's case.It falls short of 1080p60, even at low settings with a GTX 750 Ti or R7 360 installed."

With Doom 2016 and 960/380 GPU, PC can't skimp on CPU.

A. I was just correcting your numbers on the 4330.

B. A Pentium G3258 can feed enough frames to a 980 TI to maintain 1080p Ultra setting with just 2 cores. CPU/CPU cores is not the only variable here.

C. As Vulkan was not available during release it would be interesting to see the changes on their budget builds when the benefits of Vulkan are applied. Especially for lower end CPU builds like the i3-4130/4330 and the fact that AMD has terrible OpenGL drivers and performance.

Stop blaming Gamespot for your misunderstanding of what you were copying, you copied the thumbnail from the original post not the image. It would be pretty stupid of them to put every single full image directly in a thread, especially when people post 4k screenshots. With all the graphics threads constantly the fact that you haven't realized this is sad.

What caused the problems they are facing, from a public point of view, is that no one, even in their wildest dreams, thought that Star Citizen would garner the interest and money it has. All C.I.G. are doing is honouring their initial promise to keep us backers up to date and engaged with the development process. 1.4 million backers (accounts) and $116 million later, they are still honouring that promise. You know what though, most of the people who backed this only want a great game and are willing to let C.I.G. have the time they need to do just that, hell we've certainly given the funds for them to do so.

How many other game studios have openly developed a multiplayer game at the same time as running a constantly supported alpha, which gets bigger and better with every patch? Then just to add to it, they're also developing a fully realised single player game with A list stars in major roles, entirely performance captured, with a branching story, almost completely from the player perspective. Then just to top it off it's entirely crowd funded, there are no publishers, no investors or hedge funds trying to limit the game so as they can get an early return on their cash. I can never put into words just how mammoth the task is they have taken on board and to my eyes, appear to be managing it very well.

It beggars belief just how many clueless fools out there want the game to fail, all so as they can laugh at others on the internet. Sad, sad people indeed, I almost feel sorry for them.

+1 , couldn't have said it any better, this is really pathetic how many haters like Derek Smart want this project to fail so they can come up and say “I TOLD YOU SO”, if CIG reach to its goals, SC would turn to one of greatest games ever

Derek Smart a couple months back pulled his game from Steam for being 'review bombed' and not being allowed to delete negative reviews of his game. I guess he is never going release his game and he went ape shit over Star Citizen hitting the one year delay mark.

bad star citizen trolling at it's finest. The butthurt is real.

What exactly was I trolling?

Can you guys argue with anything that your self-imposed delusions that someone is trolling or what every other idiotic nonsense you come up with to rationalize why others don't share your opinion?

Posting a tiny 640x340 screenshot vs a much bigger one. Star citizen must have really gotten to you if you think that is a proper comparison. Keep posting your just going prolong this thread even more.

First of off I didn't do a damn thing to the pic, I pulled that straight from the OPs post and put it in my reply...for what ever resolution changed might have been made you need to address your frustration to glitchspot not me.

How the hell do you think I am trying to trick or confuse anyone when I used the same dame pic the TC used which you could just as easily open to show full res if the one I posted got cramped somehow?

You're making an assumption and you are wrong. I don't go around compressing any screens for any games LMFAO that's the shit you PC drones do. Not worth my time and don't see the point in doing it...like I said it's the SAME damn pic that was used in the OP. That is the one I was referencing and you can used that instead of the cramped one from my post.

The op had plenty of bigger size pictures yet you choice specifically that one. Keep on posting your going prolong the thread more and more so it doesn't really matter. There a reason why your not doing a fair comparison. lol writing a whole paragraph dat butthurt.

The one in the original post is full size if you click on it or open it in a new tab, casharmy's isn't...lol. Posting a thumbnail vs an image, what a joke.
