seems that the kids are not putting right, as though they are always hitting the top of the ball only, moving the ball just a foot or so. thought it might be a problem with not following through but not sure if that matters with the Wii. Ideas? the cat pushed the console on the floor earlier but it appears to be working fine after testing a few games.. Craig
heard a story on KGO radio here in SF this morning that console sales are down close to 30% - games are down too. $60 for a game is a bit amazing during these times........... Craig
In general, the graphics are the samme, sometimes in games like fallout 3, the textures might look better on the 360 than the ps3, or in prototype vice versa. But when it comes to a rockband game... who gives a damn?

you are right about that one. the graphics do leave a lot to be desired. Its just that this is the first time I really had to consider what platform to buy a game for. Trying to avoid the "dad, you bought the wrong one!" accusations because their older than dirt dad can't figure it out... :0( Craig
Help me out here guys, my son is giving me info that I am not sure of. Thinking about Beatles Rock Band. Are the graphics the same for each platform? If yes, is it the case for all games? I have a few different platforms and need to know what version of games to consider - Xmas is only 5months away you know... Thx for your help. Craig
a casual gaming family - done the usual gamecube, ps2, Wii routine. Thinking of either the Xbox or PS3. I know its just about impossible to find info comparing the two without the start of flame wars, but the biggest thing that troubles me are all the posts over the years about the RROD with the Xbox. I am not seeing similar warning posts for the PS3. Will this, what appears to be a fatal flaw with the Xbox ,be resolved? I've read posts about checking boxes for the new circuit board, notes that Amazon is selling the old version even though the item description says is the new one. If I am to spend $300-400 for a gaming platform, I need to see some info that I am not gonna get screwed by the Xbox. Would really appreciate some non flame advice. What kind of problems does the PS3 have, if any? Thx !
