Id say Pc + ps4 pro + switch being the ultimate gamer combo (if you can afford it).

Or if you have nothing and want to buy a cheap gaming machine Id say xbox one s (that includes games and controllers for cheap ) or ps4 slim (also includes games and controllers on good deals) or a cheap pc (but g4560 at 95€ and 1050ti at 180€ + board ddr4 80€ ddr4 8gb ram 65€ hdd1tb 60€ psu corsair 380w 50€ case+ fans 45€ win 10 kingwin 25 and keyboard mouse cheap combo 21) = 600€

With cheap pc at 600€ and consoles at 300€ with included games and controllers (one s or ps4 slim) its obvious that those with not that much money to spend will gravitate to buy a console + games + controllers pack for cheaper.

Or nintendo switch (it can be a main gaming machine by itself)

@rogueangel: If you dont have 4k tv then you are just fine playing xbox one.

xbox one x play games at higher resolution but only if you own 4k tv.

If you are playing on 1080p tv then xbox one is all you need for the next years

Well they wanted to make a more powerful machine (bump its specs up) without bumping up prices too much (thats why keyboard and pen are being sold separately).

I kinda understand. They would be charging 200 more with keyboard and pen and people would complaining they dont need those they rather pay 200 less just the surface pro.

So I kinda understand microsoft move.

@blueinheaven: with g4560 cpu at 90-100 price now and 1050ti also at 180 (prices went up) it is even harder to build a pc equivalent to one x.

Id say 1060 6gb and g4560 being the "pc equivalent" even if its oranges to apples. You will always spend a lot more in a pc than on one x.

(also we both know most pc builds to get close to console price will go with cheap cases and included psu. I would never build a new pc without a proper power supply unit corsair 380w at 50€ or even seasonic 520w at 75€ so in future I have better margin to upgrade). Also pc builds forget windows (kingwin sells win10 at 25-29 but you wont have access to microsoft support) also mouse keyboard (that we both know no gamer will use 20 bucks combo) also pci vga cables and or hdmi. hdd. bla bla we could be here all day.

Fact: xbox one x is almost half the price of an equivalent pc. even on best case cenario pc will cost 50% more than xbox one x.

So calling the one x shit so you feel better about your pc is childish behavior

Last month I just bought Ipad Pro 10.5 + smart keyboard and pen instead of surface pro mostly because the fanless i5 is still dual core (and ipad pro 10.5 benchmarks show it rivals surface pro i7 model which is impressive).

my question is:

how long (1...2.? years) do you think we gotta wait for surface pro to finally get a real core i5 (I meam quad core instead of the actual dual core)?

Because honestly the moment they release a fanless quad core i5 on a super thin tablet pc then it will be (in my opinion) an historical moment to humanity in terms of tecnology advancement/evolution.

What you guys think?

Also... is it worth to get the fanless i5 surface pro now (in your opinion)?

Thank you for your time :)

Xbox one x need exclusives.

X360 exclusives made it unique. To play gears of war or halo or forza or any other xbox exclusive you needed an xbox.

Nowadays you can play those on pc which in my opinion is a bad move.

Also Id boost the cpu power before release
