that makes the results of a ps4 pro on a 4k hdr tv not that far from 4k only haters will say its bad. The final result is beautiful.

And to show my support I only buy games patched to almost 4k 30fps AND 1080p 60fps. Maybe if everyone does like me they will need to optimize and patch those games that were not patched

Id say pc not long ago but sales seem to get worse? gta 5 got physical disk for 19€ new for ps4. Got borderlands handsome collection (2 and pre sequel plus all dlc) digital for 19€ on xbox one. Got gears of war 4 disk for 25€ (it gives a free digital copy of gears of war 1. 2. 3. and judjment too).

Steam keeps sending me super old games on my wishlist a couple times every year and when not on sale games go back to 40? 50? On consoles once 1 year passes and sometimes 2 you can find it dirty cheap physical copies and digital sales change every week and up to 80%.

My opinion. I like disks (got lots of disks from my old consoles still without one single scratch) but it requires being careful.

But with that said pc or console doesnt matter.

Just pl3ase...please dont buy games that arent on sale;)

what sony should do to win public favor:

Ps5 can read ps4 game disks

Ps5 need a powerful cpu not only gpu so it runs games at 60fps

No need for 4k hdr disk player for movies. (my opinion here is that xbox one x would have done better if used those resources in a better cpu.)

you cant run ps5 games on ps4 (so games wont be hold back by ps4)

My opinion (as someone with all recent consoles and a pc) ia that it doesnt matter which platform you game at. If you have an xbox one s you will enjoy it. if you have a ps4 you will also enjoy it a lot.

Now on topic. ps4 pro will mpst likelly go down to 350 with game and controller on december 2017 due to one x release. For 350 it is the best deal in price quality

To run Gears of war Halo and forza and a couple other games 4k 60fps you need 1000€+ PC. Multiplatforms will run at 4k 30fps. checkboard 4k 60fps and checkboard 4k 30fps. Thats around 1070 performance.

Now my 2 cents. If I were microsoft Id not use 4k disk player for movies and instead Id make cpu a little bit better. For 4k physical movies there is xbox one s already. But those are just my 2 cents

People are making such a big deal of this.

4k native is better yes but 1440p 1660p and 1880p then checkboard to 4k is not a big difference. Its not worlds apart or anything of the sort. Its pretty damn close.

Some games will be 4k like gears halo forza and a couple more. Others will be checkboard to 4k that delivers 4kish results and denying this is just fanboys and haters ways of attacking consoles.

X1x will cost 500 with a controller and will run pretty damn well for the price.

I never paid more than 45 for gold or plus per year. The lowest I paid twice was 30.

Now for the person adding 4 years of xbox live or psn to consolea price: it gives 5 free games per month making it 240 free games during 4 years (add the fact that xbox games are yours forever even if your gold expires).

avarage 40 per year makes 160 in 4 years

160 for...240 games. Im sure you see why you cant add that to console price.

On xbox one x release the ps4 pro price will go down to 350€ with game and controller.

That makes 150€ and 1 tripple A game the price difference between x1x and pro.

Id say x1x playing gears 4 at 4k 60fps and halo and forza is a big reasom for me to get one x but ps4 pro runs checkboard 4k (from minimum 1440p + native) for 150€ less and a game more so id say many people will go for pro for the cash

I think they should have left 4k uhd player out even if it meant the console to be only 50 less at 450€.

Or even better. Make the cpu better and console costing 500 without 4k disk player for movies.

For 4k hdr movies disk player there would be the x1s
