It looks like an N64 or Playstation game in parts. There's just something so blocky, chuncky, low-res and garish looking about all the level graphics. It's like if this were a PC game it would be on the lowest settings, all the texture effects would be turned off or set to the lowest res possible and the lighting was completely flat or something. It just looks wrong. Seriously, ugly!

Edit: It might just be the stretched video itself that is doing the game an injustice but the textures on the levels definitely still looke very low-res and blurry in places.

I don't know if you have a 3DS, which I doubt, but you seem to forget that all great looking 3D games on the 3DS has that kind of graphics. You will see in motion that it won't matter because if you do, you will die ! :lol:

Hold on now, lets not go crazy. Revelations still sets the bar for 3DS games graphically. MH3G looks better than this, MH4 or at least the trailer looks much better on an actual 3DS rather than blown up on a PC screen based on what the Japanese Eshop trailer looks like on a 3DS (Although there are still 1 or 2 glaringly rough parts) and unlike MH3G it is more open world as well as still having a year or so before release.

As to you statement that all great looking 3D games look like that i completely disagree.

The differing art styles can make it hard to compare however the closest comparison is MH3G. I am fully certain MH4 will look better than it currently does by the time it launches.

In this day and age most games are littered with so many prompts and hints telling you what to do, where to go, that you don't even need to think. And then you have games like Uncharted 3 that pretty much play themselves (and strangely enough still give you plenty of tips, which is downright insulting).
