I agree. The ending seemed really rushed and you had absolutely no connection to the 'villain'. A bit of background or motivation or dialogue with the villain would have made it much better. I also hated the way it suddenly skipped 250days and threw you into the ending without warning. Also nothing was resolved, we learn nothing new about any of the Fable mysteries from the first two games.

Also what was the point of importing from Fable 2? The only thing it seemed to affect was the gender of your parent. The new expression system is a bit naff, I used to really enjoy entertaining crowds of locals but now you can only interact with one at a time and don't get much choice in your expressions.

Apart from those gripes though I think its a great game, I just got my last gnome by backtracking through the hole and I'm pretty close to all keys. The new combat animations are great and the sanctuary works well. I like the new characters and dialogue. The environments are great and some of the side quests (like 'the game') are really fun and imaginative.

I just wish the ending could've been a bit more climatic.

I'd like to see some DLC that involves the Spire or the Hero of Bowerstone or something like that. Lionhead have created a pretty rich world with a great history and I don't think I'm alone in saying I want to see more of it.

Nope. Launch titles look poor. Maybe if kinect builds up some steam I might consider it but for now its barely even on my radar.

Awsome.

Why aren't I playing this yet!! I want it so bad. If you can hear me Peter Molyneux please, please sneak me a copy. I never pray but I'll pray to you. I won't even cancel my collectors edition pre-order, and I'll play offline so MS will never know. I'll drive to Surrey and pick it up personally. I'll do it tomorrow, sod work, Fable is way more important. I WANT FABLE 3!! AGGHHH!!

Living in Japan for 2 years was an adventure. So much fun. I miss it terribly.

I'm thinking about doing that. I've got teaching qualifications and would breeze through a tefl course. The only thing putting me off is that I don't speak a word of Japanese and might end up pretty lonely if I left all my friends and family behind to go somewhere where I don't know anyone and can't talk to anybody.

About 5'5 (short enough that her head rests on my chest when cuddling). Brown hair (though I normally end up with blondes for some reason), piercing green or blue eyes, hourglass figure (I like curves).

I like slightly loopy girls as well, not insane just a bit offbeat, but they have to have a good enough sense of humour not to get offended when I raise a quizzical eyebrow at some looney comment they've made.

They can't be too laid back though, I like a woman who knows what she wants and can be pretty demanding and have high expectations of me. The thing with that though is she has to realise I'm not always going to live up to those expectations and be willing to appreciate the my efforts (I like being kept on my toes, but I'm not superman).

Generally quite happy and content is good, though everyone knows its a really nice feeling when your gf turns to you for comfort when she needs it.

I don't like slutty girls, I can't stand the type that go out looking to get rogered by a random guy every saturday night. I like girls with a bit more self respect than that, I quickly lose interest in a girl that puts out on the first date (or random encounter).

I can't think of anything else right now, but I think thats a pretty good description.

Not really. I don't consider forums the place for feelings, I just see them like having a little soapbox to stand on and shout your opinions.

Empire.

I saw that movie when I was 10 and my dad decided to take me to see all the re-releases (1996, I think) as they came out. The first one was great but Empire blew me away, I had no idea Vader would be Luke's father or what would happen to Han and the saber fight just seemed awesome. Also, I didn't do a whole lot with my dad as a kid, but those movies were something we shared. It's one of those movie experiences I don't think I'll ever forget.

I always found my mind was particularly active in the evenings and I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about so much stuff. If it's similar for you try working through it by doing some stream of conciousness writing. Most of what you write will be rubbish but you'll eventually reach a point where you run out of stuff to put down and hence you're not trying to get to sleep with all these thoughts buzzing around your head.

You can always try the classics as well like a hot bath or mug of warm milk.

That's pretty interesting. I'm a bit of a film buff and thought i'd know most of these but a lot of them were new to me. I thought this happened though...

"Lucas considered having a scene where Luke's face gets injured. Mark Hamill was injured in a car accident in 1977, and his face had to be reconstructed — so for a while, Lucas planned on including a sequence where Luke's face is damaged, and we see it getting patched up by a droid. This got as far as filming — there's a set picture showing the droid bandaging Luke's face — but was cut out of the movie."

Wasn't that why Luke gets kidnapped by the ice monster on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back? I read in a film magazine they put that scene in to explain Mark Hamill's scars.

I drove a camper van around New Zealand for a month. That was pretty cool, lots of fun was had with people doing similar things and the locals tended to be really friendly and full of advice on where to go next, etc. Plus being English they all kept saying I had a nice voice 'like prince William or something'.That's the only time the sound of my voice has ever been a good opener!

Kept getting moved on by police every time I tried to settle down for the night though. It was kinda pointless - they'd wake me up, I'd apologise, they'd tell me I couldn't overnight in whatever carpark I was in, I'd drive about 5minutes to the next car park and settle there.
