I wanted to love this game but it didn't work for me. I've got FF3 for the DS now and I'm enjoying it a lot more. There's something much more exciting about traversing a world map, going back to places you already visited, accidently wondering into a fight that's way too much for you. I also prefer job roles and leveling up in FF3. Maybe the spin offs will offer more exploration.

I'm sorry but FF3 is is just a bad game. FF13 to me is just not comparable to that one.

No need to apologise, you're entitled to an opinion. Personally I think FF13 is just a bad game. 13 should've been a lot better.

My Dad used to love old 2D games but he never adjusted to 3D (which anybody who was gaming at the birth of 3D console games will agree took a bit of adjustment) I just don't think he had the time to adapt to an entirely new way of gaming. I don't think there's going to be an as substancial difference in gaming for us in 20years time. As long as motion contols don't take everything over I think I've still got a few years gaming left.

By uniting the various alien factions against a common enemy I bet.

Good shout by gameguy as well. Klencory looks like its got some hidden tech to help the fight. Just need to deal with Shol and his mercs first.

You need to go to another district in the same city. I had the same problem because until you climb one new tower they don't show up on the map.

I've never played jade empire and im thinking about it. Is it worth the MS points in your own opinion? Well... for those who have played it already anyway.

I played it through and really enjoyed. Its very KOTOR in gameplay and graphics but obviously no Star Wars setting. Its brilliant through rose-tinted glasses but is a bit dated compared to the Mass Effect games. If I had to compare it to a current gen game its most like Dragon Age.

Gamespot agrees with me. http://uk.gamespot.com/features/6129293/index.html

Even if you are going to ignore Phantasy Star 2 on your foolish list of foolishness at least I know the gamespot experts appreciate what this game did for the RPG genre.

I gotta get the Phantasy Star collection. @_@;

All 4 originals are on the Megadrive/Genesis collection. You need to play act 1 of sonic 2 in co-op to unlock PS1. 2&4 are brilliant and what they tried to do with 3 was really interesting but it seemed to ignore the story created by the first games.

I'm trying to remember a platformer on the megadrive where you were a caveman who threw bones. There was something significant about dinosaur eggs, I'm not sure if you collected them or hatched them and rode baby dinosaurs or threw them at enemies but dinosaur eggs were definately important.

Any idea?

Black_Knight_00
Joe & Mac Caveman Ninjas?

That looks like it could be it. Still not 100% but sure the graphic style looks about right and so does the combat.
