So you would say that there is no skill in Halo 3? You're a 50 in the MLG playlist?

Seriously, that slight bit of magnetism makes up for being on a console, and it let's combat flow well. There's nothing wrong with it. When other games without the feature don't get played as much, or get praised as much, you should realise that it's actually adding to gameplay, and not taking away.

the skills in halo 3 isnt actually real aiming skill it's just knowing how to take advantage of aim assist by playing the game so much. let that 50 mlg dork play me in aim assist off game he'd get owned.

it's actually harder aiming real gun lol in real life because gotta keep still and crap. but for a game to have it is really stupid, dev's just want their game to be pick up and play. bungie wants the gameplay to be like, someone who's been playing halo 3 since 2007 and a person buys the game today, lol the aim assist will give the new player a chance to get some kills on the experienced player. i miss games having a learning curve, video games just arent fun anymore.

When you are shooting guns in real life, is there aim assist? hell no so why should a game have aim assisting? lol which is about shooting. the whole point of a first person shooter is so see who's got better aim/movement skills. with aim assist it's just not totally the person aiming.

Well playing without aim assist would be pretty difficult.

Haven't you noticed how hard it is to kill your teamates in Halo 3?

no it wouldnt, many games on consoles have no aim assist.

killzone2 dev said they had high production value for graphics, but not so much the gameplay during the making of killzone2 posted on ign.com halo 3 overall has better gameplay, but the fact that the dev doesnt give you the option to turn off aim assist, no i cant play a game without feeling like a guilty noob. i want to aim by myself goddamn it, that's the whole point of a first person shooter is for the person to aim and for a game to aim for you, this is ruining the industry.

That might be true, but the bottom line is that Halo 3 is actually a higher scoring game than MSG4. You can pretend to ignore it, but it's fact.

lol halo 3's a first person shooter. metal gear solid's a tactical espionage game third person lol. comparing the scores is ummm ridiculous. killzone2's a first person shooter so you compare it to halo 3 which is also fps. lol halo 3 9.5>>>>killzone2 9.0

Halo 3 multiplayer actually sucks, bungie has never been good at level design for multiplayer maps. the original halo had repetitive single player levels, and halo 2 was improvement, halo 3 even bigger improvement. but bungie just cannot make good multiplayer maps there's no depth to them, you can explore the whole map within minutes. on games such as quake 1/2 i would find new spots on maps i had been playing on for years lol. halo 3 very little improvement from halo 2. only differences new weapons spartan laser, a few others unattache turrets,flamethrower new items, player lift crap, bubbleshield. online cooperative forge nothing special though, not like a map maker. anything im missing? halo's very crappy for multiplayer though, slow running speed, jumpings too floaty, guns dont have enough recoil really,crosshairs are terrible, forced to play with aim assist on,cant cook hand grenades, the field of view is too zoomed in, feels like fov 60 and it should be fov 90. goes on and on. halo 3 best part=single player, fata1lty would tell you halo is not a competitive fps.
