Whether Global warming is true or false, you should still take care of the only planet you can live on. Population gets bigger and bigger and we need to take care of our planet as much as possible.

[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"]honestly I think it would be dumb not to include blu ray. Since it already won. I want it to become the dominat format. I want a bluray burner so I can burn all my anime on one blu ray disk.DivinitySkateThat's opinion. DVD sales still completely dominate blu-ray. I dont understand why they just dont add more layers to a dvd or is 2 the max. I still think dvd quality is great and HD is not needed. At least in my opinion, I watch movies for the story more than anything, the picture just has to be understandable. Sound is more important since it adds more to the experience of the movie than an HD picture.
I hope that DD doesnt become the norm. I enjoy collecting, and seeing all my games and their cases. Check my blog for some pics.Republican11Yeah but you can have both worlds but you dont have to take that case out of it precious place anymore and have it up for show.
bad move by MS. DVDs are nearly maxing out space on xbox games already. when the next gen system comes out, theyre going to need at least 3 disks for a single game. also, as the years go on, bluray movies will pick up speed, and many people will buy a console, just for the bluray playerSword-DemonI wouldnt care if it came on 5 discs if I can install it to the HDD. Dont tell me people dont want to do if because PC users have been doing it forever now.
How could you actually argue against Blu Ray? It won the format war, that alone makes it's extremely welcome, not to mention devs sometimes throw in extra just because they have that extra space, with dvd's they'll cut back if it isn't enough to warrant a second dvd for example. It isn't exactly rocket science,
Blu Ray > DvD.
Edit: Did I mention the Blu Ray discs are WAY more reliable? Not even an xbox would scratch those babies.
They have a very clever anti pirate system too.
And that is only bad thing about it
Dont forget the transfer speeds. Bluray will never transfer faster than a HDD.I have said it ever since the Bluray vs HDDVD. These 2 formats are useless and as time goes by will become more and more useless. As everybody can already see, HDD are going to be the format to have your games on. PS3 and 360 both have game installs. So you will have the option of downloading your game or installing off a dvd(I would still prefer this one). Yes on dvds it will come on multiple disce but it wont matter when you install it to your HDD one time and one time only. Dvds are cheaper and games load faster off of HDDs. Also the Flash factor will come into play and has taken over burning to disc as a way of taking data with you. Expect both Sony and MS to soon allow you to use any HDD to install your games onto. I expect MS to have full 360 game download by the end of 2009 and hopefully they will allow the use of any HDD or at least certain HDDs with the appropriate specs. Disc era is ending and Flash is and will be the future.
1TB of HDD = $100 and I know you can find it for less.
64gb of flash = $115 prices are falling fast and will continue to drop faster and faster.
[QUOTE="DJ_Magneto"][QUOTE="JCblueside"]This wasn't the biggest upset in history. It was domination by a better, smarter boxer. It maybe was an upset to all the so called experts but at this point, Manny is in his prime and De La Hoya is in the twilight of his career. Now Pacman can choose whoever he wants to fight. My prediction: Pacquiao vs. Hatton in the Spring of 2009. Pacquiao W KO. After that: Pacquiao vs. "Money" Mayweather. ??? I never said it was the biggest upset in boxing history. :? I said one of the biggest upset but if I exaggerated then call it at least an upset in a small way. One thing was for sure though is that Manny Pacquiao from the beginning of the bell already sent a clear message to most people that the pre fight thoughts was far different from reality. One of the biggest upset in boxing history, Manny Pacquiao is now a certified boxing legend and one of the best boxers of all time!

How is this an upset at all. Oscar hasnt won one big fight his whole career. The main factor in this fight was teh weight loss Oscar had to lose and it showed by how weak and slow he was on saturday. Dropping weight is suicide at his age and just look at how Roy Jones and Chris Byrd were both effected by dropping weight in their later years. Either way Manny was at top notch and wowed alot of people with his improved defense and foot work. Also Oscar said right at the end of the fight, Manny trained like a champion, while Oscar's mind is in different places and barely fights 2 times a year. Oscar is 35 with around 45 fight while Manny is 29 with around 55 fights and many more to go. Oscar's only chance in this fight was to one punch KO and nothing else. Oscar needs to decide, Retire or keep your head into boxing and start fighting and training like a champion. This by far was the worst performance by Oscar and he looked like a very average fighter in the ring with a true battle tested warrior.
This game does look really good but my opinion from the vids I have seen, the gameplay seems to be lacking. Doesnt seem very action packed or thrilling which is what I like in a shooter. The game does have some very interesting enviroment with the lighting, rain and effects. I think just from that it deserves a spin. At least rent the game. Still I dont think this is a Halo killer, just not the same thing to head to head. Halo is a fun multiplayer game with a good entertaining single player. Halo gets me with the production of the game and the orchastra puts the nail on the coffin for me. Killzone looks to be a different type of shooter but can still be something that will catch alot of peoples eyes and they still have work to do. Hopefully it doesnt get delayed again. This game should of been released this holiday season.
