I know, I know... I'm probably severely overreacting. But yet I can't help but be worried.

2011 sure hasn't started off well for Sony... and I'm especially concerned about this latest hack. From what it sounds like, piracy could become rampant, even exceeding PSP levels. What does this mean? Probably less good games from developers and a PS4 coming sooner than planned. And now with trophies being hacked (pathetic right?), it just seems to me that Sony's console is just falling apart.

I don't want to get a 360, but I feel as though I'm left with no other choice if the PS3 continues down this road.

So am I overreacting and should I settle down? Or are my concerns legitimate - meaning I should get a 360?

they have all the keys that SOny has for your system. so what is definately going to happen is pirating on your games and possible to still access PSN for online.

the absolute worst case scenario: some hacker finds a way to disperse a firmware "update" that will brick your ps3. the firmware update is already possible. the problem currently is dispersent. so they are half way there

Within a week of buying this I had gone back to playing Wipeout HD and now I'm spending all my time on Just Cause 2. I will go back and finish this game at some point, but not while I have better games to spend my time on.

A mate of mine (who put 300+ hours into FFX and killed Penance) got as far as Chapter 8 before selling and is now having more fun on Star Ocean.

You should pick up this game so you can criticise it with authority, but you should wait and pick it up when it has come down in price and prepare yourself for disappointment.

Kotor, baldur's gate series were their pinnacle but a new resurgance with dragon age and ME2.

Their slump started with jade empire which was good with some lovable characters and story but the combat system. UGG it was boring and just terrible. rock paper scissors in almost pure form is just bad.

it eks out a little better than ME 1. The game was short and characters can't put a light to any of the other games'. The combat was boring it took hundreds of point blank shot to take down anything. level design and sidequests were repetitive. I can't count how many times i saw the same room with the boxes moved. it felt like they were just being lazy.

Wow. This long, and nobody's starting throwing around speculation about which version will sell more copies? I'm rather surprised.jalexbrown
