@browland1: Though the numerical scoring system certainly doesn't paint the whole picture it isn't without its merits. It shows that you may have a lot negative to say about a game, say Skyrim for example, and yet it is still fantastic. Or it could work the other way you may have very little negative to say about a game and yet it still wouldn't really be worth getting.
Over all for me the scores can be helpful. For me this is roughly how I look at it. A 6-7 is get from the used been. An 8 is a get when the price drops a little. A 9 is possible new purchase. And a 10 is a rush out and get.
I do wish the numbers were more consistent though. Cuz like you said AC Syndicate got a 9 for basically doing nothing at all.
