thanks guys sounds like the SLI is best approach I just thought i heard some bad things about SLI in terms of upgrading later, but maybe that's wrong?
I am really looking to buy a new comp with quad core that I will not have to upgrade significantly for about 5 years (except maybe on graphics card upgrade later) if you have a link to a great quad core SLI, please show me thanks

SLI is not bad, you just have to know how to take the best potential from it, and you do so by choosing the right software and hardware. For instance, if you have SLI, always install the newest Forceware drivers and play the games under the "The Way It's Meant To Be Played" label. This are the most optimized games for SLI. Nvidia did big efforts to optimize SLI for Crysis. For more info, head to slizone.com and research (in case you decide to SLI)
Now, there really doesn't exist a Quad Core SLI. Processors are transparent to SLI or Crossfire. You want right now a nice quad? I can recommend you the Q6600 for low budget and the QX6850 Kentsfield for a higher budget (which allows for greater overclocking) But the Q6600 is a greater bang for the buck. There are upcoming better quads in the future though. But this one is going to be future proof but not for 5 years! I would advice you to upgrade your quad after 2-3 years if you don't want to upgrade frequently.
