no way a 40 gb hard drive will justify the $100 price drop. Sony is losing too much for every $600 system sold already. Several other things must be crippled, and/or sony plan on only manufacture tiny amount and use them as a $399 price marketing ploy just like the $499 20 gb model last year.
Graphic is better than I thought, though it's too dark and the game only has contrast setting.
Yea the demo is a pretty generic FPS with supernatural elements and high production values. Having squad/allies pretty much wiped out any horror in the game.
Yay beat the game. Finally a refined version of Halo without most of its crappy cut & paste repetition. It's a shame we had to wait 6 years for it (halo 2 single player was more in lieu of traditional bland fps experience). Story is pointless and unremarkable as expected. Oh well bring on Halo 4!
What a Meh game. Took me around 4-5 hours to beat it. Good thing it's so short, otherwise they would really be dragging it on. Combat got repetitious fast and not really entertaining, and though I do fight correctly using correct combos and counters, it still feels like endless button mashing. Gameplay is just comprised of alternating arena combat and slowmo shooting. Graphics are nice though it looks the same throughout the whole game. Cutscenes are entertaining to watch but the over the top acting does get silly.
The only thing this game have going is its high production value (except the gameplay), but it's kinda sad how little the developer got out of the humongus resources they had.
