Oh, this game is hard to find now? Was actually going to buy a Wii U for this game but might just skip if it's going to cost me an arm and a leg to get it.
@phattuna: I'm not surprised. Despite what everyone thinks, PS4/XB1 sales are often times just as good as Steam, and occasion it's even better. Especially new releases seem to drop price much faster on consoles. Steam might hold an edge on old releases though.
@kljvoph: Lol "hurling all over the coffee table", we haven't even seen that happening with the Gear VR which is much more underpowered than PSVR. Your PhD has probably made you care about stuff the average consumer doesn't care about, either that or your PhD has gotten you a job at Occulus. Let's face it, there are no VR games that are pushing it graphically and quite honestly, the London Heist demo for PSVR looks just as good or better than anything else currently shown for VR. The gap is currently not that wide.
Let's not forget Occulus have to deal with a bunch of other features that PlayStation has already established. Online multiplayer infrastructure being the major one.
If PSVR is priced at $300, it will be dominate the VR market (however small that is), even if it comes out at $350 it's a pretty good proposition. Think about it, Sony could bundle both a PS4 and the PSVR for the same or almost the same price of just the Rift. Graphics matters but price matters the most. History has shown that again and again.
