Is there a way to identify a PS3 that carries the emotion engine chip? Serial Number, model nr, manufacturing date etc...

I'm soooo close to buying a PS3 now and would love it if it would've included the EE chip thought I figures it's gonna be rare but worth a shot right? Anyone who can help me? please? (live in the US, California btw)
