Recently i sold my xbox 360 and had EVERYTHING deleted off of it , including accounts... strangely enough someone has been able to buy MS points via my old account... I know I deleted all my accounts but what can I do about this? I changed my password but it doesnt seem to be helping. Is there anyway I can ban my old account or refund my money?

I'll probably end up buying cheap $40 casing and a 1 TB HDD from micro center, thanks :DI wouldn't bother trying to reuse a laptop hard drive or an old case - there are still decent options for low amounts of money.

Well if my laptops HDD is going to be slower I wouldnt want that, but im sort of uneducated about OS.. Could I use a new desktop HDD but still use my laptop one somehow to get the OS?[QUOTE="basebob28"][QUOTE="blaznwiipspman1"]
yeah you can use your laptops hdd but its slow compared to a desktop drive. You can definitely use your old case, what is the model? You can also shave some money off from the build i suggested to you. For example, you don't need the OS if you're going to transfer your laptops hdd. So minus $160. You don't need the case if yours is already good, so minus $60 there. You could also save some money by dropping the ram from 8gb to 4gb so minus $30.

i dunno about the OS, but if you want to save money there are OTHER ways *wink wink* to get it. MS rips people off anyways, its stupid that you cant re use an OEM copy that you paid good money for. Its the reason I hate buying microsofts stupid OS. Thats why I think everybody should support Android OS so hopefully in the future android OS can get a good footing in the PC market as well. Well thats another topic.
Lol! I just read about the "other ways" xD how about linux? I hear the main problem with that is the DX thing or w/e. and yea MS is a rip offYes and yes. You'll need to buy a microATX mobo and the laptop HDD will work, but I'd check the speed of that HDD. HDD aren't really that expensive , so I'd say invest in a desktop one as soon as you can.[QUOTE="godzillavskong"][QUOTE="basebob28"] Can I use my laptops 320 GB HDD? I think Im just going to end up buying casing since the tower i would be using is SO old.. it only has a 20 gb harddrive (x (not that i would use it anyway) the ventalation is also probably not that great,
Why 2 gb? performance increase?If you have a 1080p monitor I'd suggest a 2GB version of 7850. This PSU would be good. And don't use a laptop HDD, it's 5400rpm.

the build you picked out is better than the one ionusx picked out, but both builds have bad power supplies. Plus your build has a $65 mail in rebate so around $530. But you still need to buy a better power supply which basically cancels out the MIR, and then you need to buy an HDD plus OS, so expect final cost to be around $800. You might get a cheaper build if you pick out parts yourself.
i just built a computer on newegg for around $800
core i5 + asrock z77 for $285
radeon 7850 1gb -->$165, free Farcry, Tombraider and bioshock
corsair 8gb ram-->$60
corsair 500watt modular psu --> $60
coolermaster 912 case -->$60
Seagate barracuda 500gb hdd-->$60
windows 7 oem-->$100
total cost is around $790 and theres an extra $35 mail in rebate if you're not lazy so after everything its around $755. This is the around the same cost as what you will pay if you bought that prebuilt, and bought the remaining parts. But in my build all the parts are much better quallity. The 7850 alone is twice as fast as both the cards you picked out, and it comes with 3 free games.

hey guys, Im building a computer and need help trying t keep it at $600
Right now , the build loooks something like this:
Radeon HD 7850 1 GB
asrock z77
intel i5 3570k
corsair 8 gb ram
windows 7 64 bit
I need to know what PSU to get, (probably 500w) and if i should get a new HDD or if i should use the 320 GB from my laptop. I will also use the casing of oan old tower. This build sits around $620 (comes with FC3, tombraider, and bioshock) ( plus $15 rebate) IF i use the HDD from my laptop. I dont want to cheap out to much on the GPU and processor, but if you guys have better builds id be happy to see them :D thanks.
covered that above. How about the processor? Seems decent but eh.[QUOTE="basebob28"][QUOTE="FaustArp"] You basically won't be able to play anything with a GT610. It's practically useless as a gaming PC until you replace the GPU. That PSU needs replacing as well.blaznwiipspman1
