[QUOTE="basebob28"]Thanks for all the help guys. and by the way i am looking to build the computer here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6olutcuXHc but i have enough money to upgrade one of the two.. ill probably Upgrade to the i5 since im not the best with computers and dont feel the confidence to switch around the build alot. Thanks for your guys help. :Dlostrib

what is your overall budget?

Im using the money I get from selling my 360 and games plus a couple hundred.. so $600-$700, and for $500 this seems like an amazing build, I just wanted to upgrade one of the two components to get even better performance. I may even upgrade them both, just depends on about how much its going to be costing.

That GPU... Ouch. It's weak and it guarantees that you won't play Far Cry 3 at Medium to High. To be able to play it with satisfactory performance, you should get at least GTX 650.

Consider building a PC yourself. There are plenty of tutorials where you can learn about building PCs; it's easy really.

I am considering it but my laptop broke so now I have to use a slower computer that is hard to use as the rest of my family uses it.. I also know about nothing about computer parts... and what parts I need.. I could easily find out what parts I need , but do you have any recomendations on the processors and/or Graphics card(s)?

At the moment it's pretty difficult for people to give recommendations because your budget is ranging from $300 to $900, what do you actually WANT to spend on this machine?

at the most $1000, Im looking for the better deals though (obviously) If I have to push $1000 a little then I guess thats okay.

GT 620 is low end entry card. I hardly consider that to be a gaming pc with that kind of gpu.

You'd have to get a better PSU than the 350 watt psu it comes with to get a good graphics card like the GTX 660 ti to replace the GT 620. I feel it's rather expensive for a prebuilt. It's very misleading to the casual consumer. Shame.

Thanks, how does this look? http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-3-6GHz-GAMING-COMPUTER-DESKTOP-PC-COMPLETE-WITH-WINDOWS-7-HOME-PREMIUM-/121089125595?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item1c31796cdb Seems good but really cheap... I Keep finding good SOUNDING computers but dont know what to think.. Also what do you think of this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-FX-4130-3-8GHz-Gaming-Computer-500GB-8GB-WIN8-FOUR-CORES-/121068130820?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item1c30391204

[QUOTE="basebob28"][QUOTE="ionusX"] processor on his is inferior. however its still more than whats needed for todays games. the gpu is like a private jet compared to your origional pick.

a good gaming computer is not about having the msot powerful of one part its all about balance and his achieves a very decent one, not perfect but a very good result all the same.

i approve his choice and dont recommend many alternatives to it

thanks! ill go with his computer then... or do you think i should put more money into it..? do you think it will be able to achieve running newer games on decent settings?

Its up to you, you can save some more and get a better pc or you get the I one posted, which will play games decently.

Oka thanks for your help :D
