[QUOTE="quiglythegreat"][QUOTE="bastards12345"][QUOTE="HupHupOranje"]God is dead.Marx_Brother

Nietzsche is dead.

His philosophies just annoy me. He was an eremitic nihilist. Seriously, the worst of both worlds. I can deal with cynics so long as they care to stop out there door. He was such a wimp. Who gets so ill they can't even lecture a couple of rich kids a couple of hours a day?

Nihilism is the most accurate of all beliefs.

It is, but I find it damaging to the psyche, incredulous to most people, and a bit counter-productive. It's fine accept it intellectually, but accepting nihilism emotionally can be a problem. And to quigly, Nietzsche was against Nihilism.

Its funny how you attack him for things he hasn't seen, then spout off on evolution. Something else mankind hasn't seen. Its extreamly funny.caseypayne69
Is that so?
Observed instances of speciation. Homo sapiens couldn't consume milk until cows were raised. The link between apes and man revealed. Ken Miller discusses the discovery of the whale transitions. Ken Miller discusses the discovery of blood transitions.
These can be more critically researched in documents on google, but I figured you'd prefer to watch a video than to read long articles.

Nietzsche is dead.

[QUOTE="fiveftwang"]i believe what is explanable and god is really not that feasible. if i see it then i might believe it and if he do exist why not show himself more often.wallymartin

Why would he need to? Maybe you've seen that episode of Futurama where bender gets to play God, then he meets God? The point is that people would become too reliant on him if it were obvious he existed.

People are already too 'reliant' on 'him.'

I got a fortune cookey the other day, and the message inside was "school is cool." Yeah, thanks China for your infinite wisdom. john_doe2
Fortune cookies are an American work.

[QUOTE="Dasc00"][QUOTE="dog64"]

[QUOTE="comp_atkins"]did humans create the tsunami that killed over 200 thousand people?dog64

No,of course not. Some would blame that on global warming,which many say is man made.

Holy crap do you have any idea what the source of the tsunami was? You mean to say....global warming caused an underwater earthquake?

I said some believe that,not me. Many believe that global warming makes the hurricanes and such,or at least makes them worse. Now,earthquakes have been around for a LONG time. I can't say how god intended eartquakes to be. If you read the bible,if gives you the impression that he did not intend earthquakes to be here since it's say that earthquakes will be a sign of the end times.

Millions of earthquakes occur every day and have occurred every day since the tectonic plates broke billions of years ago...

Er...it's not the end of the world at all...they don't even say that it ends.:| December 21st, 2012 is many things: The Winter Solstice, the day that the earth completes its axial rotation, the day that the sun becomes perfectly aligned with the center of the Milky Way, and finally the end of the Mayan "Long Count" calendar. The Mayans predicted every eclipse to date, the end of their civilization, and the world wars. However, in the few texts remaining, nothing is said about the world ending on December 21st, 2012. It's just a hysteria over the calendar ending. Similarly, Nostradamus has been interpreted to have predicted the death of the French king in his time, Napoleon Bonaparte, Adolf Hitler The Lunar Landing, the JFK assassination, the Columbia disaster, and September 11th. His predictions end somewhere in the 32nd century, if I remember correctly...

[QUOTE="still_thinking"][QUOTE="Marx_Brother"]

You get a rocket that can travel a lot faster than the speed of light, and a extremely superly powerful telescope. Then travel and find a planet within the radius of the light which traveled from the time when Jesus existed, set up your super-hyper-extreme telescope and look at earth and see if Jesus did all those things in the bible.

There you go.

daniel52587

ok dude first off, your theory makes absolutely NO SENSE. Second, light is the universal speed limit, nothing can go faster. Third, why can't you just except that Jesus did miracles and stop making scientific explanations to explain it all. I mean, God created the UNIVERSE, why should believing Jesus walked on water and turned water to wine be so hard to believe?

In theory, his theory does make perfect sense if he were to use a wormhole. By the way, wormholes are also very possible. They are vacuum solutions to Einsteins field equations. But the part I put in bold just made me lol. Although, it is possible. Everything has electromagnetic fields that interact accordingly. If one were able to some how manipulate this field with the power of mind, then it would be very possible. Actually, if you hold your palms about six inches apart and start moving them in circles, you can feel kind of a magnetic pull if you concentrate.

Indeed, the wormhole is what connects the black hole and the white hole. Anything that goes into a black hole (despite the fact that it's compressed into an infinitesimally small particle) is spewed from a white hole much faster than light.

I'm gonna have to go with awsomeness, the more varaiety the better in my opinion. So long as my sig can remain the way it is though, I'll be fine.

(BTW, spell check dosent seem to work. I've tried it on two different computers, at two different locations, over two different connections, so its gotta be a Gamespot glitch.)

JeffSteel
Firefox has spell check.

[QUOTE="jm4847"][QUOTE="romocop33"]exercise your 2nd ammendment right for starters.romocop33
WHy would he need a gun? :?

because the 2nd ammendment is supposed to protect the citizens from government tyranny, so if he thinks the US government is fascist, he should arm himself.

In the aftermath of Katrina, people left in their homes were not allowed to have weapons.
