But the PS3 version of GTA IV had better performance issues. :|... Less pop-in, better frame rate, etc... Plus this is a really silly thread considering that MGS 4 has just come out... and as GS put it, it is "the most technically stunning video game EVER made." Therefore you fail.

Yea dude, one game defies your entire argument. If anything, the PS3 hardware just became a hell of a lot more attractive. Anyone that has seen this game running in person knows that it pushes the limits of what we thought next gen could do. So for you to say that the PS3 hardware is limiting the games just makes you look foolish. Even with all of the detail and action taking place on screen, the game runs butter smooth. I'm 12 hours in and the framerate hasn't stuttered once!

Aside from that, as I said... we've already seen games such as GTA IV and Burnout run better on the PS3 than the 360. It all comes down to the devs... your argument is silly and weak.
