I'm just reminded what a great game The Saboteur was. Killing Nazis & bringing colour to Paris was fun.

@xsonicchaos: No. It's better on console. You can't have controllers on PC. Or a steering wheel & surround monitors.

Heart=unbroken.

I think this game looks cool but you need to learn what video is. Don't spend a minute telling me how cute he is - I can see the video, let me make up my own mind.

I'll probably play this game but not because somebody else told me how to feel about it. I can see the interesting unique art style for myself without someone telling me that my heart should be broken for some reason.

@dwispa: There are still plenty of graphical bugs. In fact the same ones that existed in the last game.

I love PC but I don't think this is the shining example you're looking for.

@lakitel: I didn't read but I watched the video; I actually thought Mike did a pretty good job with this one.

@interstellanoob: How have you even found 20 hours of gameplay in the beta? I ran around mostly empty streets for ages, did a few side missions & got bored.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the full game will have a lot more once all the limitations of the beta are removed but I'm just wondering how you found enough to do for more than a couple of hours.

It's basically a demo (with lots of bugs) so it's hard to find a reason to play for more than a couple of hours so they kinds need to keep adding players to actually test anything.

Looks like there's plenty of potential though. Enemies don't feel too spongey when you're playing without co-op. It's like Borderlands in that enemies get harder when you have friends playing. Otherwise it feels like GTA or Uncharted in terms of how many bullets it takes to kill. Even those games have insta-kill headshots though - none here.

@dannyodwyer: In the very first Fallout there was a bugged out bookshelf so that if you nuked the weight limit, you would pick up the bookshelf instead of searching through it.

Carrying around a 999lb bookshelf was too funny to drop it. I think it was somewhere early on like Shady Sands.

My take on weight limits is that if there is crafting, then it should be very generous. Limiting the number of items you can carry in a survival horror game can be a great mechanic (but why does a key take up the same slot as a gun?) but when the game tasks you with collecting everything that isn't nailed down to craft weapons, armour & even a home base, they shouldn't punish you for doing it.

The Witcher 3 weight system was mostly OK but having finished the game before the storage box patch, it was definitely appreciated when I started a second playthrough. Having to drop a bunch of herbs so that I can pick up a sword isn't fun gameplay. That doesn't make me feel like I'm in a real, living world. I recently modded out the weight limit in Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen because it's super frustrating to see that I need 2 more of some item to upgrade my sword, knowing that I just came from an area where I passed up a dozen of them just so that I wouldn't have to run like an old man pushing a walker. When the weight limit starts getting annoying, rather than adding a real challenge, that's when devs have done a poor job.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is basically a Diablo clone but I really liked the mechanic where you had a helper who could aid you in battle but you could also load her up & send her back to town to sell your junk while you kept fighting on your own. Town portals & fast travel are OK but it kills the pacing of the game if you're constantly going back to sell gear. Having a helper or pet or helicopter fly in to take your stuff is better than turning a game about killing stuff into a merchant simulator.

@openmind23: I finished The Witcher 3 before the storage box patch came in. Having to sell the Wolf Armour or Griffin Armour, only to craft it again with higher specs once you hit the right level was stupid & only worked because I had more cash than I could spend.
