Not sure "This really sucks for our company" is grounds for an appeal.

Absolutely terrible remakes. Although I would have added Jeepers Creepers: Reborn as probably the worst remake ever. But that would have required some work rather than just copying and pasting an ancient article. Not sure how that movie ever got greenlit. The budget was so small, they had to use a greenscreen to make a really bad CGI graveyard and sky rather than just going outside. I completely gave up on the movie when they showed the Creeper eating a brain but forgot to add the brain using CGI so he's just chomping on air. LOL. Haven't checked the scores of all the movies above but, I don't think many of them received the 2.5/10 that crapfest of a movie received.

Well at least the first game made with AI wasn't Terminator and the AI tech wasn't called "Skynet". People think, yay, more games to play with less time to create them, while at the same time calling out game companies for laying off staff while still maintaining record profits. What do these people think using AI to help create products is going to lead to?

I understand the hate for the first attempt at putting LOTR to film. It was pretty bad. But I hear a lot of people bashing the first 3 Jackson films as well because they stray too far from the books and too much material is left out. I've read the books too many times to remember the count and I also love the movies. I wasn't expecting the movies to follow the books to the letter. Most authors want movie adaptations to be exactly like their books. They seem to have a hard time understanding that what reads well in a novel doesn't really work well on the screen. Things need to be changed for pacing and length. New material has to be added to shorten the story and still have everything tie in nicely.

Unless you are turning a novel/novels into a TV series that can run for many years, things have to be cut and events have to be changed. That's just how it is. Tolkien's son absolutely hated what Jackson did with the movies but he should have known it wasn't going to be a complete word for word rendition of the books. They have to please an audience of many different tastes, not the the author or their offspring. Stephen King hated Kubrick's version of The Shining. Yet it's considered one of the best horror films of all time. Then you have movies like The Dark Tower and you can see why the author might be pissed. Rowling was given almost complete creative control over the Potter series. The movies turned out well but, one has to wonder what they would have been liked had Rowling not been looking over the shoulders of the Directors. I mean, the Fantastic Beasts series was a disaster.

Hmm, they're seriously going to have to pick up the pace in the movie compared to the game. However, the good thing about it is that, once you remove all the walking sim hours, the actual meat of the game should fit nicely into an average movie length.
