I'm getting a good chuckle out of this. So why didn't they at least do 720 is the real question. I do agree that Bluray is/will be a needed format. I can't wait til the costs of it come down. People forget how expensive VCRs and other game systems were back in the day. In regards to inflation, they were a lot more expensive than $600.

Resolution has nothing do with with disc capacity, so blu-ray being needed or not is irrelevent. It helps if you know what you talk about...

Yes, they're wrong; resolution has nothing to do with the size of the information contained on the disc. The scaler handles that. This thread is filled with ignorance.

I love how you ignore the fact of all the interviews and writeups of the game that have all stated that the AI has been turned way down to show the public the game. Just like when any game is shown to the public, AI is always turned way down so the guy doing the walkthru does not killed killed 12 times and has to take up 3 hours of the press's time to show them a 12 minute battle.

Let me guess, you were one of those people saying how dumb the AI was in the MGS4 trailer. Let me guess that in addition to that you have never played a MGS game and don't realize that the MGS series always has some of the best AI period. Then you too probably ignored the part were Kojima explained that the AI was dumbed way down to show the walkthrough.

Personally, I can't wait to see what the real AI is like in Killzone. I will also make one last prediction. When Killzone shows some amazing AI a few weeks before its release and all the reviewers comment on how realistic and smart the AI is--I bet that you will slip off the boards and pretend that you never made such comments.
