It started out from Unix, but Linux went down a different path and became more user oriented...

Unix is designed for mainframes, servers, workstations, basically production of some kind...and not just PCs...

Linux is more user oriented, and user friendly...

People can still have other OSs on their PC...I will probably have one Windows installed somewhere, but I develop stuff using Linux, so I'll be glad to ditch windows entirely from my laptop for example

That's not true...it has been repeatedly said here on GS that reviews are subjective and the score reflects if the game's worth the price it's sold at...
