Oh no, I get you and I agree...developers need to demonstrate that they can use cloud services and that they can implement it in a game without problems...
Here's the thing...even with other areas of technology Cloud based programming or developing is still an emerging thing...solidly working platforms are still in development...
So yeah...the benefits are there, but just in theory, that's why I will wait a good while until I will purchase any game that has some sort of cloud feature incorporated...
Cloud technology can be whatever you want it to be, or whatever the company enables it to do, as Shiring said...cloud features are endless, and Microsoft found a way to use their cloud to run dedicated servers for Titanfall
They are not specifically for Xbox...xbox too, but not just...office365 cloud services will be featured there too, and Microsoft has other online services as well...
That was my point, not what Xbox execs or PS execs are offering on a gaming platform...
