The article is a comment on the MS conference alone...there's no comparison with the Sony or whatnot, and it would've been impossible for Mark to compare it with the Sony conference...
Titanfall did look great too...the combined mech play and the jetpack mechanic was cool
Kinect, and they have all these new exclusive contracts with different big names...like NFL...plus they mentioned that they opened up new studios in some places, so I imagine they would like some money back for some of these investments...
I think they are independent...they are not part of a greater group or some smaller partner of somebody...they develop and publish their games by themselves
I've read them...and there was no crusade...because they were the ones who were asked about DRM...and the reporters knew that no-DRM is always an article that garners many clicks on a gaming site...
So please don't fall into the trap of sensationalist media(however veiled it may seem)...
As I've mentioned in an earlier comment, they will never put DRM in their games, because their idea of no DRM is clearly software DRM that would hinder their games...
Hardware DRM is entirely different matter, and it's out of their hand, and they are in no position to change that
