Yeah that would be a pretty cool move from them...but I play games on PC, so I'm not that interested in company policies when it comes to other consoles...I'm happy though that console players will get to play this...let the fanbase GROW! \o/
I love the trailer and I was so happy that they appeared with that video...that combat against harpies (I think) was pretty good...I think we've all seen open worlds before and medieval fantasy settings, so I think that the most exciting thing will be the combat...
Put pressure on XBONE? Do you realize that they are an independent developer with one successful IP? And you expect them to pressure hardware changes that were planned and put forward to production? Get back to planet Earth man...
What corporate crusade? You must be joking, because there is no such thing...opinions on how piracy works and how DRM hinders games is not a crusade of any kind...
You're too melodramatic...they are the champions of DRM only in your mind...they had DRM in their games before, then took them out, because they think that they shouldn't put useless restrictions in their game...and guess what they didn't do that with the W3 either...
Because there's a difference between hardware restrictions and software restrictions...what they "championed" was no DRM in games, not on consoles...
You can piss your pants when they will put DRM in their GOG games, or put DRM in their PC version of the game...
Otherwise there's no integrity problem here...you are welcome to buy the game from GOG
I never really take such surveys seriously, because they never release the questions...saying that their conclusion is that mobile gaming is increasing can be the result of many things, and the result itself doesn't amount to much...and personally I would like to know on what answers they base their results...
Until then, this "news" doesn't amount to much, however devs might shift a bit to this segment...and I'm curious to see if games like the new Deus Ex will perform in a satisfactory manner...
