There is no online play. The only online part of the game is the trading of creatures and I don't think the Wii will be able to do that with the PC either. The PC is the better way to go. Just post your specs and I will tell you if you can run it or not. There is no reason you should be left out of one of the greatest games of all time if you could actually play it on the PC. The Wii version will be very stripped down.-Sphere-

I don't even have a proper PC, just this piece of crap Compaq Presario C700 laptop. i had a nice PC, but I had to give it to my mom after hers broke (no joke!)

The Zapper's a load of horse manure. Get the Wii Blaster from CoreGamer instead. Now that's a weapon!

My PC sucks, so yeah, i'm getting the Wii version... as long as it uses the same servers as the PC for online play. It would be super-cool to pit PC players and console gamers against one another!

Bear in mind that this was in the wake of the NBA All-Star Game in new Orleans. Leagues like to use the All-Star game to temporarily reinvigorate interest in dying franchises. But once the euphoria wears off, it's right back to stagnation.

Hey, not everything DK has been in post-Rare has sucked. I don't know about you, but I really enjoyed Jungle Beat- in fact, I still play it on occassion. Jungle Climber for the DS was also nice. But yeah, DK has also been in a lot of crap, culminating with Barrel Blast.

The DS loophole in the Rare buyout provides a perfect opportunity to put a much-needed defibrillator to the heart of this franchise. How about this: Get Rare to make a direct sequel to DK64 for the DS!

FYI, they won't be the Supersonics. As part of the settlement, the NBA has agreed to leave the name and history in Seattle. At least they had the decency to do that...

Just adding to my earlier post: The NBA has lost my business for life- even if Jacksonville (my hometown- you can tell from my sig) does, through some divine intervention, get a team!

Jaysonguy, this only confirms what I already knew: You are delusional. Sorry to be so blunt, but... Clay Bennett and the NBA are the real villains here. Instead of taking the sensible route and just moving the New Orleans Hornets, a team that no one gives a crap about, down the (relative) street, they had to uproot the one with an actual historical significance and people who actually care. I'm not even a Sonics fan, and I want to kick David Stern and Bennett in the unmentionables right now.

On the bright side, at least they had the decency to leave the Sonics name and history in Seattle. Although that probably won't matter as long as King Stern I lives.

The Nintendo Channel suffers from one major problem that completely cripples it: The game database is incomplete. A lot of great titles are not listed, meaning that I can't vote to recommend them, even after playing for well over the required hour.

On the bright side, NONE of the DDI shovelware is listed.
