The size of the disc is not that big of deal. They could have probaly have made the city 5x bigger and fit it on a DVD because the only thing to do with the city that takes up any space are the textures the way these textures are implemented is just mathmatics. And math don't takeup much disc space. The only reason any game takes up much disc space now is due to CGI cutscences but GTA is known for having cutscence that are all in engine again just using maths.

Now the harddrive is more of an issue as the harddrive will be used to cache the game game so there are loading times. But there is a way around this make it that the core 360 has loading times and the prem\elite don't.

I think this is very comparable to movies while most people have no problem watching something along the lines of Nightmare on elm street not many people would have the stomach for something like Salo, Cannibal ferox or Cannibal holocaust.

But I don't think there has been a game that goes to the level of these kind of films Manhunt being the closest thing I can think of. So for those who said extreme violence in there games what have you been playing?
