Alright probabaly in my price range, the 8800GT would be sufficient enough for me. Also how long do you think it might be until this card is out of date. I had the 6600GT for 3 years and now it doesn't meet the minimum requirement settings for Crysis.
the XFX 8800GT that came out says it has been factory overclocked to 625MHz? would there be significant difference to performance with the extra 25MHz? Sorry about the power supply thing, i got confused with watts and volts. lol hopefully the 600W will work.
I am quite worried about the power supply not being sufficient enough and have to invest more money into my new computer. I currently have a 230V supply, do you think it would struggle with a 8800GT?
I am looking to buy a XFX 8800GT Alpha Edition and comparing the specs with other manufacturers and are slightly different. Does the brand make a significant difference to the performance? these are the ones that I've looked at so far and which one is best on performance to price?
