Apparently this series will come on market in Feb - March. I was wondering if I should ride out the temptation of buying a 8800GT now and wait until drop in price? Do you think it would be worth the wait or will there not be major price cuts as I have noticed the 8800GT is really popular.

Does anyone know if there is going to be a price drop soon? do they normally have sales after christmas because I am looking to buy a Geforce 8800GT and was contemplating if i should wait a little while longer?

I currently have a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard and does not have a PCI-Express slot.

I need that slot to upgrade my graphics card.

I found a 8400for £29.80 which i thought was quite good or should i wait a bit longer for the 8600?
